Fairbanks Restaurant

Came here from the Sheraton (an easy 7 min drive) and I’m glad I found this place. Friendly service, great food, and one of the few places in Orlando where you don’t have to take out a 2nd mortgage to pay for something. You know a good way to judge the quality of a place? If the locals are there. Take my word for it Fairbanks Restaurant is legit food and i’ll be back tomorrow morning before we drive back home.
I got the farmer’s omelette and my wife got the scrambled eggs, home fries, ham, and toast. All to go and bc it’s such a short drive it was still hot when i got back to the hotel.

They advertise an omelet with Swiss, I am lactose intolerant and I can actually eat Swiss, they brought me the omelet and it was white American. She said that is what they use as Swiss, this extremely dangerous! Thank god I noticed it!

I've been working in Winter Park for a while now and finally decided to try this restaurant. It is a small, local business that might not get your attention as you're driving down Fairbanks ave. Do yourself a favor and stop by. The staff is super friendly and their food is good. The building might seem a bit dated outside, but the inside looks good, clean and accommodating. I made a takeout order, since I was in a hurry. Got the fairbanks omelette and 1/2 order of biscuits and gravy. The food was warm, good and tasted good.
Best of all, their prices are very reasonable (based on today's economy) and portion size is great. I can say that I had an awesome breakfast today and will definitely go back. This is a small business worth supporting. They offer a great product at a good price.

Don’t confuse the diner down the road for the Fairbanks restaurant. ? First in the door this morning and again…the BOMB! Hit the spot! Chopped steak it is. ?

I have been coming here since the early 2000’s. This is a tiny mom/pop style spot and the food does not disappoint! I call it the hungry woman but the menu says hungry man lol! I am not a pancake girl but see everyone with the cakes and waffles. I love my bowl of grits and the eggs are cooked just right. The kids love the ham steaks too. Just a nice quick spot to grab a bite to eat. Oh, don’t forget to grab the Mentos candy on the way out…it’s a tradition! ???

They are rude. The guy almost spilled hot coffee on my service dog and than laughed about it. The manager or whatever she was had a whole attitude when we complained that there was hair in our food.

I was a bit hesitant about this location but the reviews are a true indication of the deliciousness of this location. Although they cannot understand when I wanted a Coke as they might only have understood Pepsi I did enjoy the coffee that they did bring me. I would suggest pointing to the menu if there seems to be a language barrier. The food was outstanding very tasty quick service and the restaurant was very clean.

First and last time here. I ordered cheese eggs and steak.
This is not steak. And no cheese on my eggs that I paid extra for. The one lady employee had the nerve to give me attitude

They've been there since the beginning of time itself. Always good food, always great service, always affordable pricing. Menu is huge and everything is really good. They always get my eggs right.
