Great spot in a great city. With so many restaurants to choose from on this strip in Winter Park, stumbling across this gem was definitely a win. The staff were nice and attentive, the drinks were good and the food was delicious. This place didn’t disappoint.

I ordered a hamburger and it seemed extremely salty and the fries too, we ordered a pasta with chicken with pesto but honestly it didn't have enough, it looked dry, we ordered salad with steak and that one was Masomenos, we asked for dressing and they told us it was already included 🫠

Dined here this past weekend with a party of 9 for a friend's birthday. The service and food were embarrassing. We were sat at 7:45, and the food arrived over an hour and a half later at 9:23. Half of our dishes were cold, sauces congealed, fries cold, my medium rare steak cooked completely through. It was clear that several of our dishes had been ready for 30 minutes or more. The server did not stop by once after I received my dish. We were so hungry from waiting an hour and a half to get our food that we ate. When the server came to collect our dishes, I told her about our experience. She apologized and said that what she thinks was happening is that OTHER SERVERS were taking OUR FOOD thinking it was for their table. Completely unacceptable excuse. She also told us that the next time we come here to "let them know" and they will take care of us. What?? I'm here right now. Take care of us now. At this time, a manager SHOULD have been sent to our table. The server comes back 20 minutes later and offers us free desert, but we had brought a cake for our friend's birthday. Another 20 minutes later she comes by to offer to take our drink off the bill. I gladly accepted. When the check came, the drink and my meal were removed, and only my girlfriend's dish was left on the tab. This is an appropriate and expected remedy. It's unfortunate we had to sit there and ruminate for another hour and a half after receiving the food, instead of being assured we would be compensated so that I could enjoy the rest of my experience. Overall: food was not great and would have been mediocre if fresh. Service was terrible. Would not return.

Walked in there with my fiancé inquiring for reserving a private table for a dinner party and the short older blonde in the front was incredibly rude. She shoved a card in our hands and overall very unaccommodating. She was very short with us and I cannot imagine bringing my family here after this terrible first impression.

The new wine list is a no go for me. You need to add 3-4 international red wines.
Great menu, unique selection.

Garp and Fuss relies too much on its beautiful atmosphere and doesn’t focus enough on consistent service. I brought my mom on a dinner reservation last night and was seriously underwhelmed by our server.
We sat for at least 10 minutes without being offered water. When the server finally arrived, she didn’t greet us, introduce herself, or mention any specials. I had to tell her we were ready to order because she acted almost surprised to see us. It was the oddest interaction I’ve ever had at a sit-down restaurant.
Finally, I received my drink, but they forgot my mom’s drink until I asked about it. I also had to walk our check up to another server so we could pay. Honestly, it seemed like we were an afterthought to the staff during the entire meal. Mind you, this was at 5 pm and the restaurant wasn’t that busy! The experience really put a damper on my evening with my mom, which was meant to be a special occasion.
The food itself is consistently good—we enjoyed the crispy cauliflower and the Garp handheld beef sandwich, which I’ve had on other occasions. I also love the chai cocktail.
Still though, I can’t see myself returning to this restaurant often when the service is so spotty. I think these issues are easily fixable with more staff training and hope that the restaurant management will consider this.

We went with friends, there were 6 of us, we got a table quickly and we ate hamburgers, very delicious!
Too bad the service, it was terrible, three times we had to call the waitress because our order was incomplete and the drinks were missing 👎🏻

Was so excited for this place to be open again but went a few weeks ago and was shocked to see a different menu and received lower quality food. This used to be my favorite place in WP, but may not be returning unless it’s for the bartender Eric who was great. Wish they’d go back to the original menu and up the food quality again.

I really wanted to love this place. The hidden location, the brick walls, and the big windows made it look so charming, and the reviews had me excited. But Garp & Fuss turned out to be more fuss than anything else.
We sat down, looked over the menu, and everything sounded great. Then we waited... and waited... Meanwhile, a table of four showed up after us and had water and their orders taken almost immediately.
Our server finally took our drink orders but never refilled our water and disappeared when we mentioned we were waiting for one more person. Once our last guest arrived, it took 15 minutes for her to come back and another 20 minutes for the drinks to actually show up. She finally took our food orders, but it took another 30 minutes for the food to arrive. I don't think I've ever experienced such slow service in Winter Park.
The food was okay but nothing special. The burrata was fine--hard to mess up since it's just (which I believe was store bought) burrata, bread, jam, tomatoes, and pesto--but it didn't have the creamy, melt-in-your-mouth texture I was hoping for.
The fig and goat burger was disappointing. The patty was over-charred on the outside, even though we ordered it medium, and it was pretty small. The best part was the fried goat cheese on top, but even that wasn't enough to make up for the rest of the experience.
Overall, the space is beautiful, but the service was painfully slow, and the food didn't live up to the hype.
