Garrett was phenomenal! He was attentive, funny, and a great story teller. The food was also amazing. We had the shrimp and grits, French toast, and dessert. We will definitely be back for Sunday brunch.

Our waitress in the bar area was incredibly incompetent. Missed many menu items. Their normal house smoked pastrami was not served but instead regular packaged salmon and the candied bacon served was regular. She consistently got every order wrong. Food from another table was put on ours and then picked up
And served to another table which is improper for food and beverage. Argued with my friend about them not serving a berry cup when it’s listed on the menu… didn’t even come out! Argued and made smart comments about getting our friend’s coffee order wrong. Truly just completely rude and incompetent.

On Sunday 8/17 some friends and I had dinner at Hamilton's Kitchen. My experience was far from magical. I am vegetarian and ordered the one option available to me, the lion's mane mushroom steak. My friends' food came out first and then mine. I got a plate of vegetables and literally moved them aside to look for my steak. We called the waiter back (Robert, who was wonderful by the way). He told us that they had run out of the lion's mane and the chef was just putting mushrooms on the plate, which he just found out from the chef when he went to inquire. It was in no way any kind of meal, and lion's mane steak is the only way I will eat mushrooms. They allowed me to substitute ravioli for the magical dining price. If I wanted to eat ravioli I would have stayed home. My mouth was so ready for that lion's mane steak, and I sat and watched 2 of my friends enjoy their real steaks while I ate pasta. I was offered an extra dessert to take home as compensation, relayed by the waiter as no manager came out to speak to me. I did finally insist on a manager and she was able to minimally help. I emailed the executive chef and food and beverage manager whose cards were handed to me. Neither replied. It was a less than magical experience, which put a damper on the night for all 4 of us at the table.

Wonderful dinner menu and a pleasant atmosphere. It’s a shame that the live music can only be heard in the bar — in the main dining area you can’t hear it at all, and I wish you could. The servers were very sweet. My risotto was too salty, but they brought me a new one almost right away, and it was excellent. I’ll definitely be coming back.

OH MY GOSH! What a hidden gem! A wonderful beautiful brunch in the middle of winter park at the historic alfond inn so amazingly beautiful in structure, art in the gardens back by where you have brunch!!! And the prices are so reasonable and this most beautiful sophisticated elite setting!!!!!

Went for magical dining on a friday night. It was not too busy when we got there. The food was good but the food took a LONG time. Not sure why. We got the peach buratta salad and it was mostly tomatoes, minimal peach and 3 small pieces of burrata. Weird decision. It was tasty but not what i expected. Dinner was good, we were hungry. we got the carbonara and steak. Dessert took a long time again and just ok.

The food was good but honestly i hesitate to return cause of how long service was.

Excellent and elegant. Great brunch spot to spend a cozy afternoon with friends. The pecan smoked bacon is delicious, the creole chicken soup is smoky and has a great kick. The truffle fries are addictive, and turkey club is enourmous, and the bread pudding was so comforting. Our waiter Garrett was a lot of fun and very attentive. Great spot!!

We keep returning here because of the atmosphere and great kitchen! But mostly atmosphere: beautiful garden for kids to run on, live music, artistically done hotel.
The food is great - no matter what we order!
So why 4* and not 5*? We usually don't order coffee there. Their espresso machine has been broken for a while now and we would usually go to New General after the brunch. Additionally, service is sharp on actions, but not very welcoming. I am not sure if that's a style of the place, but a lot of times I don't feel comfortable talking to the stuff and they seem annoyed.
Those are only two small things. I would say this: place is so great with its environment and food and we still will keep coming to enjoy it!

As someone who visits winter park quite often for brunch and dinner I was very ashamed of the way the establishment treated my mother, my sister, and I. We were sat for our meal at 7:30pm and were not provided our main course meal until past 9pm. In asking to speak to a manager due to the lack of attention to our table and absence of food in that large of span, he only had the decency to glare at our table and walk to the back of the house. I honestly could say I would take my money and time elsewhere as the “male” managers had no interest of our concerns.

10/10! Went for Magical Dining and we will be back to pay full price! Service was attentive and professional. Filter tap water was something special. Word on the street says skip AVA, save yourself from pretentious food and “grab a chair” to enjoy real quality at Hamiltons.

Sam, James, and Terry treated everyone so well! The ambience was nice, the food was amazing, and the service in the bar area was beyond my expectations. I highly recommend Hamilton’s! Especially for Saturday night meet ups! :)
