The Miso soup tasted like dirty dishwater. Friend of mine had pork broth that looked like chicken broth and tasted like dirty dish water as well. I had some kind of chicken meal with scallions and rice the chicken first piece stuck in my mouth was chewy and the taste of it was absolutely disgusting. $40 down the drain

Very nice place, great service and a very enjoyable meal. I had tonkatsu ramen with braised pork belly, mushrooms, fried garlic soft egg and noodles. Added a little spice bomb, excellent. My wife's katsu chicken was awesome, and a nice looking box with plenty of food. Service was very attentive, and the hostess gave us tea to go, perfect for a chilly Florida day. We're going back soon!

First visit to this wonderful little ramen and sushi place. I've been to several sushi restaurants in the greater Orlando area and Kombu is right up there at the top.
This is a small place with about seven (7) tables and a standard sushi bar. Our party of four were seated right away.
Their house hot sake was some of the best I've had and I regret not asking our awesome and lovely server what the brand was.
My order of nigiri was absolutely perfect and delicious. Nice size pieces and about as fresh as you can get it.
My family members ordered a bowl of ramen and some sushi rolls, which they enjoyed very much.
I'm fairly certain that we will be going back to Kombu again soon.

Certified BANGER!! 10/10 Stars. Everything was perfect. Service, food, atmosphere ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ It's not common for a place to do sushi and main dishes well, but wow did they nail it. The fish in the sushi was fresh and tasted clean. Great presentation on the plates too. We had the regular tonkatsu, the Maya Tonkatsu, chicken katsu curry, Oasis roll, spicy salmon roll and Tha tea. All were stellar and our top three of the bunch, highly recommended, are the Chicken Katsu, Oasis roll and Thai Tea (it tasted like butterbeer to me, delicious). ALSO! You get the whole egg in your ramen!! Will be coming back to try more
This is a great little place! We went there for lunch, and everything was reasonably priced, with delicious ramen and sushi. The staff was very friendly and attentive, the atmosphere was cozy and rustic, and they even had a TV that was playing a ramen channel! The only issue I had was that the parking lot was small, but I don't suppose that would be much of an issue considering the place isn't very big. Would definitely go there again!

We’ve had several people recommend this place and finally checked it out. Literally everything was delicious. The staff was personable and attentive. Chicken Katsu Curry Donburi- fantastic and very filling. Mayu Tonkotsu Ramen- my NEW fave! Japanese Monster Roll- perfect amount of spice (very subtle). Pirate Roll- the combination of the coconut shrimp & mango was so refreshing!
We will definitely be back.
