Been to many Michelin restaurants and this place is not worth it. 1/4 of the dishes lacked Michelin or any real flavor. They charge a 20% kitchen fee. Two people cost $1500. There are simply way better places for the money.

The good is they had three rooms which broke up the experience. 1/4 of dishes were wow. 1/2 we’re good but nothing special. They had a really good Alcohol free pairing.

Seriously though, save your money. Get two great Michelin dinners for the price of one.

if i could give this establishment a million stars, I would! I honestly don’t think words describe how amazing of an experience we had here. I was gifted a dinner here as a birthday present, but timing never lined up until recently so I booked my reservation and waited months before i could go and I was very excited that I was able to go. the staff, chefs, and management was above and beyond in making sure everyone’s experience was perfect. they were very informative, polite, hospitable and everyone was very skilled in what they bring to this restaurant. they even surprised us with a custom “magic box” that literally brought tears to our eyes. my boyfriend has a shellfish allergy and Tracey emailed with me back and forth before our reservation to make sure everything was accommodated for him and it wasn’t a downscale version of their regular menu either, it was still a very special meal. i know my dad would love this experience so next time we’re in town we WILL be back. if you have a special occasion or just want to take someone special in your life out for an unforgettable time then please consider Omo by Jont. i promise you, it will be worth every penny!

We had the smaller of the two available chef’s menus, “The Journey“ for $195, and indeed it was a journey of amazing ingredients and smells of different continents - and of highest quality: some of the starters, the seafood dishes and the duck main course were simply breathtaking. We had a wine pairing which was interesting, and 3 sample glasses of Sake which were excellent and perfectly matching most of the courses. Service was perfect. This Michelin star level was worth the „luxury“ price level.

Incredible experience, to say the least. As soon as you walk through the door, the staff is attentive and professional. The atmosphere was inviting, modern, and chic, with my favorite part being the classic hip-hop tracks playing in the background. This was my first time doing a tasting menu, and I was delightfully blown away with each dish served being perfectly curated. We opted for the Journey. The menu offerings at the time were more seafood forward, but all the ingredients and level of care from the chefs elevated each dish. Every bite was rewarded with complex flavor pairings that danced on your taste buds. My favorite dish had to be the truffle crab risotto. The scallop was also amazing, as was the waygu steak. Don't underestimate the portions as we were full by the end of the dessert lineup. Ômo by Jônt is a great place for date nights or special occasions and celebrations. Make sure to make reservations.

From the moment you walk in till the last morsel and sip, this place is amazing. I love to moving from Living Room to 16 counter seats in the kitchen watching everything being made and plated to the dessert parlor with the most amazing box of goodies. Thank you for a wonderful experience

From the moment we stepped into Omo by Jont in Orlando, we knew we were in for something special. We were greeted with a glass of champagne and guided into a beautifully intimate space where the ambiance felt both refined and welcoming. The open kitchen added a personal touch, letting us watch the chefs in action while the staff made us feel genuinely cared for throughout the entire evening.

We experienced The Journey tasting menu, and it was truly unforgettable. The first bite a pastrami pork steam bun was warm, rich, and deeply flavorful, setting the tone for what was to come. Then came a playful take on takoyaki, made with cheddar and paired with Hitachino beer, which was crispy, cheesy, and umami-packed. The wagyu croustade was an absolute highlight meltingly tender beef with sweet onion on a crunchy base that balanced every bite.

Next came the kanpachi tart with romesco, delicately fresh with a subtle smokiness that lingered beautifully. The Key West pink shrimp arrived with tomato, soba, and myoga, offering brightness and depth in one refreshing, well-balanced dish. One of the most elegant plates of the night was the chawanmushi silky and luxurious, topped with snow crab, corn, and Kaluga caviar. It was comfort elevated to fine dining.

We continued with a rice course made with nanatsuboshi rice, dungeness crab, maitake mushrooms, and shio kombu a deeply savory, umami-rich dish that felt like a warm embrace. The duck followed, paired with morel mushrooms, orange, and miso. It was beautifully cooked and full of earthy, sweet, and salty contrasts that worked in perfect harmony.

Then came dessert, which completely stole the show for me. As someone who’s obsessed with tiny desserts, this trio was everything. The strawberry entremet with white chocolate and sorbet was bright, creamy, and elegant. The warm vanilla madeleines with dulce de leche, caramel, and raspberry were soft, nostalgic, and indulgent. And finally, the pistachio, coconut, mandarin, and matcha dessert brought together tropical, nutty, and earthy notes that were as balanced as they were bold.

We also added the sake tasting, and it’s something I highly recommend. Each pour complemented the food perfectly, adding new layers of flavor to an already thoughtful menu.

The entire experience felt personal, artistic, and so intentional. Every dish told a story, every bite was memorable, and the level of care from the staff made us feel like we were part of something truly special. If you're in Orlando, The Journey at Omo by Jont is more than just a meal it’s a masterpiece worth experiencing.

My experience almost perfectly mirrors that of another reviewer here - a decently enjoyable experience, but a far-cry from what I'd expect at this price.

The food wasn't bad, but it wasn't great. The imaginative dishes you'd expect at this level just didn't exist - nothing was very memorable from the main dishes. Funnily enough, the most unique dishes came from the dessert room.

The experience itself was fun. They take you through 3 rooms, one for aperitifs', one for dinner, and one for dessert. The atmosphere is very well done, but somewhat ruined by the strange music choices throughout the night. With the food being unexciting, was it worth $700? Probably not.

From their cocktails being an absurd $60, to a forced 22% auto-gratuity that only goes to the back of house (which implies they'd like you to tip extra for the server to get anything), you really don't leave the experience without feeling nickel-and-dimed.

It seems Orlando has been popping up with these fine-dining locations at ULTRA-fine-dining prices, but they realistically fall short of the real thing.

Having been to a number of fine-dining establishments across the country (Le Bernadin, Next, Aquavit, etc), this realistically doesn't come close to those experiences. I implore everyone to save your money, and wait for your next trip to a more established city like New York or Chicago to spend the SAME AMOUNT (which is crazy to me) at a restaurant that can give you that eclectic experience you are probably looking for. Or better yet, spend it on any of the other fantastic options around Orlando at a fraction of the price.

I liked almost everything about the place. Interesting dishes, beautiful restaurant, lovely details. The one reason I am taking off a star is because at the end of the meal you will be presented with a bill with a 22% service charge automatically added...at first I was totally fine with this because you shouldn't go to a restaurant not expecting to tip...but then we were told this charge (which is over $100 for two people) is JUST for the kitchen staff and doesn't include front staff so you need to tip them separately. This is absolutely insane. If you are going to require a service fee for kitchen staff then build it into the price of the meal and be upfront about it. Also kitchen staff should not be getting a service charge based on your drinks that they do not serve. I have been to high end restaurants all over the world and have never seen this. This felt like some really shady business tactics and made me leave the restaurant feeling really uncomfortable instead of pleasant after such a night.

Omo by Jont is an absolute gem in Winter Park. From the moment you step in, you are welcomed into an elegant and intimate space where every detail is carefully curated. The atmosphere exudes sophistication without feeling pretentious, making it a perfect setting for an unforgettable omakase experience.
The French-Japanese fusion cuisine is nothing short of extraordinary. Each course is a masterpiece. The flavors are balanced, and the presentation is great. With so many courses, every bite feels like a new and exciting journey through the chef’s creativity.
The service is equally impressive—attentive, warm, and knowledgeable. The staff enhances the experience with their passion and expertise, making sure every guest feels special.
While everything about the food and service was impeccable, the only drawback was the tipping structure. A 22% service charge is automatically included for the chef and kitchen staff, but diners are expected to tip extra for their waiter or waitress. Having dined at several Michelin-starred and high-end restaurants, I found this a bit unusual. Nonetheless, this does not take away from the outstanding experience that Omo by Jont delivers.
If you’re looking for an elegant and unique omakase experience, Omo by Jont is absolutely worth a visit. The exceptional food, warm hospitality, and attention to detail make it a standout destination for any food enthusiast.
