I’ve visited this café about three times, and on my third visit, I decided to bring three friends along because I had been raving about it. We ordered our meals and drinks and sat down to enjoy them. After finishing, we chatted for about 10 minutes before a team member approached us and asked us to move to another table that wasn’t already occupied.
This was disappointing, especially since we had just made a purchase and were planning to buy muffins and another drink shortly after. We ended up finding a table outside, but just like us, the other guests could have done the same. It was frustrating to feel rushed, unwelcomed after supporting the business and embarrassed after recommending this place after I have been raving about it.
Not sure if I’ll be back here..

The coffee is okay, but if u r in a bit hurry, this shop is not a good option, we ordered 3 dishes, only one of them is hot food, but we've been waiting for over 30 mins, I don't get why it took so long to prepare such simple food. Won't come back again anymore

Love it here. I am not sure if seasonally the menu changes, but the vegan brekkie sandwich is a must have - make sure to get the potatoes with it so it comes with the green sauce. 🤤 The pecan pancakes are also to die for. Everything is clearly labeled and there are many options for vegans. Sometimes they even have vegan baked goods. It’s not exactly a quick service restaurant but it’s also not a full on, sit-down restaurant either. It’s a coffee shop with stellar food that is brought out to your table and cleaned up for you. The staff is very attentive. It’s right off Park Ave, a little out of the “hustle bustle” which is nice as it’s usually busy - but not slammed - on the weekends. They have a few tables to sit at inside, but more outside. It’s not the best place for a large group because of the limited seating. A party of 6 maximum would be comfortable. The decor is pleasant, modern, clean, and minimalist. Overall, if you’re looking for a brunch place to stop at on the weekend while on Park Ave, this is it!
Adore the vibes of the shop with an easy entrance right off Park Ave. Great drinks & food items, more vegan-forward, but dinged 2 stars because of pricing. If you want an actual substantial meal with non-vegan protein, you are looking at about $20+ with taxes. Extremely pricey when marketed as a cafe vs. an actual restaurant, but otherwise it's a great spot if you want a quick pick-me-up.

let me start by saying this cafe was my absolute favorite cafe to come to every Saturday. I use to recommend so many people to try this cafe out until this one morning. I came in with 2 of my friends (who again asked for my recommendation) we all bought coffees and my friends also purchased food. This day I brought a yogurt, a siggis yogurt if you must know, nothing else. Not in a fancy jar just a yogurt. As my friends food got delivered I was told by the owner who very rudely crouched down near me like if I was a child to scold me and said no outside food or drinks would be accepted here and made me feel bad in front of my friends.
I have came her many times and spent a lot of money here but unfortunately you have lost a loyal customer.
Great atmosphere, and Best coffee around.

I don’t understand why they close so early, honestly doesn’t make sense.

I had a wonderful recent experience at New General! I felt very welcome from the moment I walked in, the staff and service were absolutely fantastic. I had a Golden Latte and the Chickpea Buddha Bowl with Tofu. The Latte was great and I did feel it helped soothe my stomach! The Buddha Bowl was decent but I felt it could use a bit more flavor. I was very impressed with the atmosphere of the cafe, it was truly an Aesthetically Pleasing setting! It was also impeccably clean. Thank you for the great visit!

New General Café has to be hands down the most beautiful coffee shop I’ve been to! My husband and I were visiting Orlando for a day trip and were on the hunt for a good coffee shop to try out. We stumbled upon New General Café and absolutely loved the vibes and the atmosphere! I ordered their Golden Latte and my husband had their cold brew with a double shot of espresso (black eye essentially) and a splash of oat milk. My latte was perfect and my husband loved his cold brew! We also order food while we were there. We ordered the Buddha Bowl and the Chicken & Bacon Panini. All I can say is WOW! My salad was delicious and not too heavy, which was nice. My husband’s panini was also to die for! I also had Kombucha that they had in their grab-n-go fridge and it was honestly my favorite kombucha. Everything about this shop was 10/10 and such a beautiful place to chill & have a great chat! We can’t wait to come back when we are in town!

Located in the Winter Park, just off Park Ave. It’s kind of a hidden gem.
I had a cold brew with cream. It was very good, smooth and not bitter. The CB&J pancakes: Buckwheat pancakes with several layers of nut butter and strawberries. Not too sweet and very filling. I shared it with my husband and we still couldn’t finish it!
The bakery items were by Buttermilk Bakery, so they were excellent. I love the lemon lavender pop tart. So flaky and only a hint of lavender, the lemon filling was not too tart.
Friendly barista and service was quick and efficient.
The cafe itself was clean, nice wooden tables and potted plants on shelves with a beautiful selection of pottery and kitchen items spread throughout. Lots of outdoor seating.
Parking is available on the street or in local free lots.

Nothing is better than fresh morning coffee.
New General is the best local spot in Winter Park.
Fresh coffee smells so good and also breakfast burrito is definitely a must-try.

Great place to grab brunch/lunch in winter park. Everything is fresh and delicious. My only issue is they charge an extra $3.50 to add 2 tiny pieces of tofu. But I keep coming back regardless because I enjoy the food and drinks
I can’t wait to go back! The vegan breakfast sandwich was amazing, I loved their sausage and perfect brioche bun. The vibes are immaculate and calming. Love how everything is all natural.
This is a great spot in Winter Park for a cup of coffee, my wife claims it’s the best vanilla latte she has ever had!! Overall, it’s a spot I would take anyone too. The two drawbacks I have are that it’s expensive, it can be over $8 for a vanilla latte and that some of the staff can be not as friendly as you would hope for.
