Love it here. I am not sure if seasonally the menu changes, but the vegan brekkie sandwich is a must have - make sure to get the potatoes with it so it comes with the green sauce. 🤤 The pecan pancakes are also to die for. Everything is clearly labeled and there are many options for vegans. Sometimes they even have vegan baked goods. It’s not exactly a quick service restaurant but it’s also not a full on, sit-down restaurant either. It’s a coffee shop with stellar food...

Adore the vibes of the shop with an easy entrance right off Park Ave. Great drinks & food items, more vegan-forward, but dinged 2 stars because of pricing. If you want an actual substantial meal with non-vegan protein, you are looking at about $20+ with taxes. Extremely pricey when marketed as a cafe vs. an actual restaurant, but otherwise it's a great spot if you want a quick pick-me-up.

I had a wonderful recent experience at New General! I felt very welcome from the moment I walked in, the staff and service were absolutely fantastic. I had a Golden Latte and the Chickpea Buddha Bowl with Tofu. The Latte was great and I did feel it helped soothe my stomach! The Buddha Bowl was decent but I felt it could use a bit more flavor.
