RIP Popeye's in Winter Park. I started eating there in 2000 when I moved to Winter Park from South Florida. There used to be a picture on the wall of this location in the 1970's. We survived the remodel together, and protesting the opening of the Casselberry location. (turns out that place sucks anyways) I was a well known guest up until around 2018 when the traffic just got too bad due to Winter Park's greedy overbuilding. You will be missed by me, but not by my waistline!

This location has improved so much. Please keep up the great work! Our food was hot and fresh. The fries were crispy, hot and perfect. This will definitely be our favorite location! ♥️???

I went to Popeyes Chicken the other day and placed my order, but they said in spite of advertising on TV that they don't offer that any longer. Anyway, the manager Yolanda, worked and worked to get me what I wanted for the price I wanted. Well she finally got it, and I got 5 pieces of chicken for $5.31! (Usually $7.44) Good deal huh? Well the clerk that was taking my order ask me to put a kudo comment online even if I had to ask a granddaughter to do it for me! Well. Sure enough, I tried but couldn't find how to do it, so could you please help me with this? The store is the one on Fairbanks. Thanks honey for your brain on this. I owe you one!-My Grandma Judy gives many thanks to Yolanda and the cashier that helped her out with this. She tells me regularly that Popeyes is her guilty pleasure and her favorite. Thank you for making her day.

Very slow service. Waited almost an hour at the drive thru. Every Popeyes that I go to, the same thing happens. I got to the location at 1:18 PM and I ended up leaving at 2:17 PM. Horrible.

I use to hate this location, happen to give it another shot and let me tell you as long as the GM Stephanie is here I’m in….She made sure customer service was excellent. She made sure I walked away with fresh food. It wasn’t just about her job but definitely about her customers. Girl you rock! I hope you see this and know you were truly appreciated! Thank you ?

Even if the company had given a lifetime free food voucher for this branch, I would not have brought my family, myself or my loved ones here to eat something from this branch. staff did not make eye contact and ignored when we called to ask something. this felt a bit rude to me. Afterwards, even though I placed my order online and paid, I saw that my order started to be prepared after it came to the window, and I think the customers in front of me did the same thing. This behavior made me think that they didn't want to waste time and material for production before they saw me come to take my order. At the end, while I was waiting for the meal to be prepared, I saw an employee inside the coffee machine's water tank, putting the mop from the floor and carrying it to the back. That's why I didn't eat the food I bought. Witnessing such a nauseating and anti-hygienic moment, while the effects of covid 19 continued unabated in the world, I decided not to set foot here again. Everyone drinking the coffee that fill from those machines... this comment that I wrote on this digital platform to take notes for myself and my family, although it does not imply on behalf of the company, it is a comment that I hope will remind the owner of the branch how important the selection of employees and hygiene education is. By the way, the building is orange, not the color on the cover photo.Features: No masks. No social distancing. Not hygienic.

Omg Stephanie and Yolanda are the best managers ever!!! They made sure all my food was fresh and given to me in a timely manner. They communicated with me the whole time and made sure all my needs were met while I waited for my food. This is the best Popeyes store ever!!!! Thank you ladies!!!

First time Ever! Popeye's is not very prevalent where I come from. I have to say, the fried chicken on the menu looks a lot different than what you get. The texture in the menu photos makes it seem like you're about to experience something new in the texture of fried chicken.. How do they get away with that? OK, I know you never get a Big Mac that looks like what's on the menu either, but... this seemed different. I guess not. I was played.Totally average in every way. But their Mac n Cheese does stand out with extra flavor. And they charge extra for it. Of course.If KFC and Popeye's were next door to each other, I'd choose... the shortest line.

I do not say this lightly: the fried chicken I ate here last night is quite possibly the best fried chicken I have ever had in my life.The batter was incredible. Crunchy af, seasoned amazingly, pillowy and light but toothy and substantial. I want to write poetry about this batter.The meat was juicy, savory, and cooked literally perfectly. Probably from the best, most amazing chickens.The fry was :chefs kiss: brilliant. The oil was clearly fresh and clean. Gordon Ramsay himself would give this place ten out of five stars. Whomever cooked this is a culinary genius and should be regarded as such. I hope they know their worth. I want to know their secrets.I paid $20-something dollars for two of the best fried chicken sandwiches I have ever had (and I have had Bake Sale Betty’s ffs. I am a qualified and experienced fried chicken eater), a two piece meal with two thighs, and a kids meal nuggets. We over ordered for sure, but there was not a scrap of chicken left. This meal outperformed meals triple this price.Go eat here before everyone who works there self-actualizes and opens a Michelin-starred restaurant. Because they could, and they should.

I placed an order through the app at a location that ended up being closed for maintenance so I drove to another location. I explained the situation and the manager on duty (Stephanie) was so helpful, she took care of my order with no problems. I was frustrated to start, but I left very happy with the great customer service.

I would just like to take this time out to say thank you Stephanie in the drive through. I was having a little rough day went to Popeyes on my lunch break. I got to the window and my card was declined. I felt horrible and embarrassed however instead of her telling me to get out of her drive-through lol Stephanie said don’t worry about it lunch is on me Her act of kindness literally melted my heart. I called to get her name. I apologize again I felt horrible. Stephanie told me don’t worry about it we’re all in this together it’s still good people in the world. I work close to the popeyes on Orlando ave and fairbanks in winter park. I go here often for take out , quite a few times i either get cold food or they mix up my order or forget to put items in the back . Their prices went up and the quality of food and service went way down . As much as i love popeyes i will need to boycott them for a very long time . Not paying for horrible food and service. DO BETTER POPEYES!!!!
