Super friendly though seems like there was something of a language barrier. Two lunch specials, Malta, and one fresh overly affected "juices" were delicious but also close to $30. Something I'd expect from the casual side of their sister location over in Waterford Lakes but not so much from this Winter Park cafeteria concept for lunch. Not exactly Sheep. Lol

My family and I were starving and ran into this amazing restaurant. It’s labeled as a Latino restaurant, a lot of restaurant claim to serve Latino food... this is truly Latino flavors. Lovely staff and great looking place. Recommended to everyone.

Amazing food, always fresh, great flavor, and always clean. We had so far their cuban tamales, empanadas, ropa vieja, pernil, carne asada, yuca, maduros, tostones. Ooohhh and they have MOFONGO TOO, that's next on our list. They have a pretty decent menu and the portions are great! Enough food to hit the spot and great prices!! You can order online too!!! Love this place! The food is always fresh and delicious. I’ve dined in, picked up, and ordered on Uber Eats and every time it’s the same quality. Definitely a must try

They catered for our department‘s ( Advent Health) Christmas party . It was a large order, with 4 protein options. Veggies, rice and beans . The food was incredibly delicious, made fresh , and everyone loved it! We did not have any leftovers on the trays! We highly recommend Rice and Beans Cocina Latina and will have them cater other events for us again! Thanks !

My boyfriend got the pork and it just falls apart and has so much flavor and juice! The staff is super friendly! The garlic shrimp was amazing. All the food was hot and fresh and delicious. Both meals were $22.

I so wanted to like this place but I was sadly disappointed. Mangu broke apart and had no flavor. It should be creamy and smooth. This was neither. Mofongo had overcooked plantains and no flavor. Tasteless and dry. Breaded steak was horrible. No flavor as well and breading fell apart. I give it two stars because the lechon asado was not bad. Congri and yellow rice should have been more flavorful. The worst part for me was seeing a worker behind the food that was ready to order open up a Walmart can of corn and dumped it into one of the warm food station areas. I paid almost $50.00 for this food. It should always be fresh and made to order. I will not be going back.

I love this place! Food is amazing, they give just enough to not even waste it. I love Natalia & Mely I believe her name is. Their spirit is so warm & welcoming. I go there every chance I get :) oh & the cooks are nice too, I love their empanadas . Thank you guys 💜

I would love to give this place 5 stars, but my my Onion Steak was hard, my sister-in law's fried chicken was undercooked and the empanadas tasted like plain tomato sauce and canned chicken ... besides that my husband ordered Pernil and it was really good, and my daughter ordered Sancocho and it was also really good, same with the rice and beans. Also the service was amazing! the girls are very friendly and the place is super clean.... I would like for them to closed a bit later .. 9pm is kind of too early for me.

Went in for a quick lunch but was dine with eating rice so I ordered 2 beef empanadas ($2 each) and an order of the pork corquetas ($1.5) to vary it up. They are freshly fried when you order them so I sat down with my cup of soda and waited a short bit. My empanadas and corquetas came out blazing from the pits of lava so it took a minute before I could even dig in. Now, they offer beef, beef with cheese, chicken, chicken with cheese and guava mixed with cheese empanadas but since it was my first time trying these out, I went with simple. My Mami makes empanadas (or as we normally call them empanadillas) and they get filled with cooked ground beef, small cubes of potatoes and sliced green olives which means each bite has a small array of different flavors attached to them. Yes, they can be packed full of stuff but that's what you want when you dig into these. These only had beef. Perhaps I should have ventured into a chicken one or even a beef and cheese one to give it more than a one note meal. The croquetas were good but not filled to the max with meat either. The panko exterior had a great crunch to it.
