Rosati's Pizza

First time in this establishment. I ordered the jumbo wings and I received medium wings. Their excuse is they ran out of their “regular jumbo wings” but still charging $20 for wings I can get at a whole bag of in the grocery store!!! Never again!!!!!

Food is fine but the fact that they use Doordash stinks. I had no idea or I wouldn't have ordered. Doordash is terrible. Rosatis is about 15 min away from me. We ordered because we were unable to go pick it up. I get the text from Doordash that the order was picked up 40 min ago. The guy just showed up and I had to go out and find him. He was walking around our apartments clueless. And the best part is the food was cold. Will not order delivery from them again if at all. I get that it's Superbowl Sunday. But the time between pick up and delivery was ridiculous

Great pizza (thin crust), really good salad and very attentive service. Will go back and try the Chicago Deep Dish pizza next time.

It is authentic!! I was so excited to try it and it did not disappoint!! Thin crust is best but buy extra. It’s not as filling!!

A Heavy Slice of Disappointment

Rosati’s on University Boulevard in Winter Park presents itself as “A Chicago Tradition Since 1964,” yet my visit suggested the tradition may have lost its spark. The pizza arrived substantial in weight but not in flavor, calling to mind convenience fare more than the deep, satisfying bite of a true pizzeria. The dough bites showed potential but suffered from a stingy portion of sauce, a small misstep that attentive service could have easily corrected.

Unfortunately, attentiveness was in short supply. Our server was rarely seen, and when I called out to her near the front, she looked over and walked away without acknowledgment.

Rosati’s carries a name with history and promise, but on this visit, both the kitchen and the floor fell short. A touch more care, both in craft and in courtesy, could yet bring this establishment back to the tradition it proudly proclaims.

Late October our family and friends had a party of 10 for my sons 7th birthday. My son loves Chicago deep dish pizza and Rosati's is the best in town. The owner was so kind and was able to accommodate our large group. This is our favorite pizza place in town, FYI, the wings are great as well!

Our dining experience was pleasant at Rosati's. We ordered their $5 Lunch Special(a slice of pizza & a drink) along with the garlic Dough Nuggets, which were my favorite. They were fresh out the oven, light, flavorful and served with marinara sauce...though you can eat the nuggets with or without the sauce as they are great either way! We dined in, and although it is a super tiny dining area, it was cozy and it worked for the 3 of us. Our cashier/server was nice and even came out to check on us a few times to make sure everything was to our liking. The slices were made individually👍🏾, tasted great and were pretty filling. We enjoyed the food so much that we decided to order-to-go an extra 2 pizza pies(1 Chicago style) & Zeppoles w/Nutella dip...they were all delicious! I'm glad we decided to try this spot for lunch. It gets ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ from me!

The food was fantastic and was priced right! The pizza slices served for the lunch special are similar to the size of a NY slice of pizza but a little thicker. I ordered a Chicago Deep Dish pizza to go. I haven't tasted it yet because I'm still full from lunch but it looks delicious. Keep in mind that there isn't much room to dine in as the restaurant is very small.
