We've eaten a LOT of spicy chicken sandwiches. The Spicy Chicken sandwich was the BEST we've ever had. I ordered the main one and my husband the Thai one. He took one bite of mine and wanted to trade. The one I had ordered was amazing and hard to let go, but for him, I traded. I really liked the Thai one too. He thought it tasted like a pine tree (?) I can't agree. The chicken was real, not pureed. The sandwich was HUGE. I could've shared half. The curly fries were great. I have no idea where they cook them cause you order and wait in the Foxtail Coffee. So the atmosphere is amazing as far as coffee shops go, but it is not like a restaurant. There are lots of high-top tables and bar stools. Not great for kids imo. The spicy guava chai was worth the cost. Sorry we didn't take photos. It was so amazing and we were hungry.
Parking: We parked in the free lot, I'm not sure of street parking is free.
Kid-friendliness: It's a coffee shop atmosphere. People are working, studying, reading, and socializing. High-top tables and the coffee bar.

Was looking forward to this place but it ended up being a bit of a let down. I'll start with I had a terrible wait time were my order was overlooked for some reason and after two reminders one of the servers found it sitting on a shelf. I won't blame them for this as the people that ordered after us got their meals quite quickly. Although it was frustrating.But what's harder to get over is the price and food. For two chicken sandwiches and two sides and a drink was just short of $50. The sandwich was tiny and the biscuit cold and dry. The smoke flavor added to the chicken wasn't doing it much help. It was already cheap thigh meat and it was barely a full piece. I will say the potato salad was excellent and the fries taste like fries. But honestly the potato salad was the only good thing. With Black Bean Deli and 4Rivers nearby I don't see how this place can compete.

To go Order was missing 2 side items ($9 value) and my burger was raw in the center. The buns got very mushy from all the sauces and the meat itself was surprisingly bland. Fries were good and the coffee was very good. Just expected better for the cost.
Great smash burger! I highly recommend. Potato salad is good if you like dill.
