I’ve stopped into The Glass Knife several times and always enjoyed their coffee and pastries; everything is top notch in terms of quality and presentation. You can tell they take pride in what they serve.

That said, the service has felt a little snooty each time. Nothing outright rude, but I just don’t feel especially welcome when ordering. It’s a beautiful spot with delicious treats, but the vibe could be warmer. Still, four stars for the quality alone.

My favorite patisserie in Orlando, nothing disappoints. The food is also really solid and they know what they’re doing when it comes to espresso. Despite being busy it’s typically pretty quiet and the service is always great, Michelle is an angel!

During a recent visit to Winter Park, we stumbled upon this charming spot. The exterior alone caught our attention, and after reading glowing reviews, we were eager to give it a try. Upon entering, the atmosphere was just as beautiful as we’d hoped—bright, inviting, and thoughtfully designed. The presentation of the baked goods was impressive, and the little shop featured some lovely items for sale. One of the standout features was that they’re pet-friendly, which was a pleasant surprise—this is the first place I’ve seen that welcomes. Plus, the bathrooms were adorable, with a large mirror perfect for taking a few photos.

Unfortunately, our experience with the food didn’t quite live up to the high expectations set by the ambiance. It’s possible we arrived later in the afternoon, but the donuts were disappointingly dry, stale and overly sweet—mainly tasting of sugar. My coffee, too, was served cold, which was a letdown.

However, there was one shining star on the menu: the hazelnut pastry (I believe that’s the name of it but for reference I put the picture). It was absolutely delicious, with a perfect balance of flavors that wasn’t too sweet, allowing the richness of the flavors to really shine through. It was the highlight of my visit, and I’d definitely recommend it.

Overall, while the atmosphere and some offerings were lovely, I hope to return earlier in the day for a fresher experience with the baked goods and coffee.

This place was so cute! We stopped by for a quick breakfast before flying back home. The donuts were so delicious, as well as the latte! Sometimes beautiful desserts don’t match with the taste but these tasted as good as they looked.

I went to The Glass Knife with my husband for the first time today. We had an amazing experience, the food was deliciosos, the coffee exquisite, I had the Costa Rican pour over, one of the best I have ever had. The service was absolutely perfect, Zay took care of us and she was very pleasant and welcoming.

I ordered quite a few things, these are the only desserts I snapped a picture of. Both were 10/10. I also had the oatmeal pie, with marshmallow, the Christmas tree cake, and a donut. Very delicious, everything about this place was great!
