Stopped by with my son while in town for a swim meet and after visiting UCF. We split the PPP burger and the chicken and waffle. We need a place like this back home. Both were great! There were multiple things I wanted to try. Would recommend.

If you’re thinking about it, just go. The food is SO good. My boyfriend and I got the pork on pork on beef burger and it was amazing!! We were in the area and everywhere else had long wait times. We were in and out at The Hen and Hog.

Service was awful and almost passive aggressive. Very average food and overpriced.
For customers that don’t know this I wouldn’t eat at this place again they don’t where gloves which that creates cross contamination across every food you eat and also has mold on cleaning chemicals which is not replaced and all of it is on the chef it’s not the cooks or servers fault

Please do yourself a favor and read their replies to all the honest reviews, it should tell you all you need to know about this place. The fry cook is absolutely rude to his employees and customers which explains why his staff is so bitter. They looked annoyed to take orders. And they don’t stand by their advertisements, menu items, or menu prices. For an empty restaurant they have a lot of rules of where you should sit and how you should eat. I had high hopes for a restaurant centrally located in winter park known to have the best food spots, this one stands out as being one of the worst places in Florida to eat. With no line on a Saturday morning (which is already a red flag), our food took 30 minutes to come out, only to be salty, dry, and greasy. After taking 2 bites, my wife and I ended up throwing our food out, and going down the street to another restaurant to remove that nasty taste in our mouths.

The food is overpriced for being over salted, over fried and dry. I understand at small establishments there might be longer waits but waiting so long for food that literally left a bad taste in my mouth is disappointing. This is coming from a foodie who is not picky at all.

Definitely not for brunch. Staff lacks personality. Cook was unprofessional and no customer service..... attitude. Not much on the menu for breakfast. Menu screen on wall changes quickly, so u have to read quickly or take photo is what I was told by cashier.
