Great dive bar atmosphere with fresh as it gets oysters! The bartender grabs your beer, wine, soda or whatever, takes your order AND shucks your oysters! The night I was there they had Chesapeake Bay oysters. We got them raw and they were magnificent! Napkin caddies mounted right above the bar seats. Super convenient and great use of space. Fun community atmosphere. Great place for karaoke on Wednesdays with Tommy. Food was solid, but not an extensive menu for dinner entrees. Oysters were fresh and good quality. Lisa and Stephanie were friendly and attentive bar hosts. Will be back.
The food was good, and the service wasn’t bad, but the vibes were OFFFFFFF when my friend and I came in. It’s clear there’s a collection of local that go a lot and they gave us some not friendly looks when we came in. No one said hi to us, no one welcomed us in, our bartender was nice but only after ignoring us for a while first. We almost left, but then she came over and seemed much friendlier all the sudden. Food was great but on bad vibes alone I probably wont be back...
