Chilango's has the best Mexican food I have ever tasted. I got two chicken quesadillas every week and they were always so delicious. The owners are also so nice to everyone! My only regret in moving away from Florida was that I would not be able to eat here regularly anymore.

Great place. I had the burria tacos and they were delicious, probably some of the best tacos I've ever had. The sauces that they make in-house are also really good. The staff are friendly, especially the owner. Felt like family!

I have NO idea how this place does not have 5 stars!!! The food is absolutely so amazing and authentic, so rich with flavor and the meat just falls apart in your mouth. The atmosphere is very welcoming and the staff is 10/10. Will definitely be going back.

I was excited to eat here because of the Chilango’s I love and remember years ago and they did the renovation and got new owners. I ate there today with my boyfriend. Most of the menu items have changed since new ownership. The chips and salsa came out in a togo bag and a togo container while dining in. The chips were stale and when asked to replace them, we were met with more chips that were stale and extremely salty. My boyfriend’s chicken quesadilla came out with Mexican rice on the side. The rice was too fluffy for Mexican rice and the quesadilla was extremely soggy and greasy. My chicken flautas had barely any flavor to them and a strange aftertaste. The atmosphere was nothing of how it used to be. The plus side is the girl at the register was nice; however, nothing was offered in place of the meals but another meal choice. Since the two meals had not been of quality, we opted not to change them out and just leave. There is more seating but hardly any decor which under the previous owners gave a more authentic feel. The new ownership has not done Chilango’s justice. The previous owners cared about their customers and feedback received in house. They knew authentic Mexican food meanwhile the new ownership’s food lacks flavor and quality and is more comparable to a fast food restaurant. Their drink options have decreased (having removed the soft drinks fountain) and the food options are costing more for less quantity of food and a lower quality. I will not be returning.

This was my first visit since the new ownership took over and the remodel was completed. Very few of the decorations remain and the murals and pictures are now gone, however it has been opened up to allow more seating. I didn't notice if the self serve soda fountain was still there but the horchata fountain is now behind the counter, and they have two Coke coolers for canned or glass bottled (Mexican) drinks. The young lady at the counter who took my order was friendly and knows the menu options by heart.
This was a to-go order and took about 20 minutes to get home so maybe that played into this, but the food was not as good as I remember it being. The carnitas tacos were ok, but the shredded chicken was very dry, and the taco beef (ground beef) was super greasy. They all lacked the great flavor Chilangos used to be known for.
I'll try again when I am able to eat there, but this is the last time I do a to-go order.
I’m not a taco fans, but this place changes my mind. It’s definitely the best taco place. The Shrimp, Tinga and Carnita tacos were awesome.

In response to their reply...The Thursday Special is now DOUBLE THE PRICE vs. how it was with the previous owners when you take into account Buy 1 Get 1 50% off it is not a discount or a special. You should have changed the name, because you are an IMPOSTER CHILANGOS! Sad to learn the mom and pop owners sold out and this is entirely a different place with new owners. Part of what made Chilangos awesome were the deals. And now a Chimichanga went from $12 to $17 regularly. And instead of $5 Chimichangas on Thursdays its buy 1 and get 1 50% off...not really a deal when you used to get 2 for just over $10 and now with the new deal it'll cost closer to $26...RIP OFF!!! I will be telling everyone I know yo avoid!!
