Gator's Dockside Winter Springs

A friend and I went on a Tues. evening to enjoy the wkly Bingo game. We both had chili which was very good and a small side salad. I gave the atmosphere a 4 because we had trouble hearing some of the Bingo calls partly due to being seated in the farthest room and partly due to normal restaurant noise. Altogether tho it was a pleasant evening.

Been going here for a while. Mostly take out now. I know this and usually mess up. I want to share to help the store and the customers.

When you order wings, tell them to sauce twice and ask for sauce on the side. No matter what style wing you order there is never enough and barely any sauce on the wings.

I ordered 35 wings tonight. $65. They may have been near the sauce, may have been in the same room, but if they were tossed in sauce I’d be shocked. Very disappointing.

Never happens when I’m there. If I sit at a table this isn’t an issue. Not sure what the deal is.

Good size wings. Well cooked(grilled) but basically naked.

Went with a group of 6 and made a reservation. We were seated immediately upon arrival. The food was great, reasonably priced and the service was great!

Very disappointed this trip. I ordered Philly cheesecake steak for take out - my favorite. I get it home and it's mostly bread and very little steak.

Our bartender on Saturday, 10/11/2025 was amazing. She made her job look easy. She was extremely easy going and attentive. If we lived in the area, this would be a place we would frequent often.

I ordered the gator tail, but was disappointed to find that there was very little actual gator meat and mostly crumbles of batter. The portion size was quite small for the price, which was disappointing given my expectations. $15 for pick up order.

First off thy delete my comment about the horrible fish on Friday. We ordered it to go and when got home I had 3 stingy pieces fish that taste like RUBBER.. for $12.99 wont ever order again or for that matter go back. Well go to Friendly Confines much better atmosphere!!

Yesterday, Tuesday, September 9, we went to the location in Winter Springs. Actually, it's the second time we've gone, and Sofia is the best waitress in the world. She's very friendly and always smiling. I give her 5 stars!!!!!

I haven't tried everything on the menu as of yet, so I can say with certainty that salty fried pickles go well with beer. I tried three different cocktails and they were okay. I believe a more experienced bartender will resolve that. Now the place is clean, suited for families with sports enthusiasts. Very spacious, Im looking forward to see the place when college football starts. I believe a fair assessment requires at least three visits, and I intend to do so.

The last 2 times I was there I always order the boneless wings and fries. Today's visit fries were cold and not cooked good. Boneless wings were mostly gristle. Im a regular customer sorry won't be coming back. Today was for a birthday.
