It’s not as good as- it’s Smokey uncomfortable to breath in there. No ventilation and it’s slow and not recommended.

I'm very disappointed in lunch. High priced for portion size.
The menu looked great but left us wishing we didn't stop by. Didn't feel the best after eating.
Lunch to go packaged poorly dressing from salad all over other items. Have had better at farmers market.

The man that runs the place is amazing! good food, good atmosphere, and the place is always super clean and inviting! My favorite go to spot!

Atmosphere was great.. took a bit to get food... but it's a small business so more patience is needed.

I got the classic beef and lamb wrap (like a gyro/kebab) and while it was tasty, it was quite small. After a $2 tip I paid $16. It did not come with fries, pita bread, salad, or any sort of side. I know restaurants are struggling right now, but so are regular people and in my opinion you can find this type of food for a better price or a much larger portion at other restaurants.

The food is good here. However, when I went, it seemed like it was just the manager working, both as a server and maybe as the cook, too. I went when they just opened, so there was no one there. It took a while for the food to come out, maybe longer than 15 minutes. They were out of their beef, which I wasn't made aware of until the server/manager told me when I wanted to order the Kafta, which is service 101: you should let people know beforehand when you are out of something or state it on your menu. Their rice was not ready, which to me shows he must have been short-staffed. It's okay to let your customers know you are running short-staffed; it allows for compassion and understanding to happen. Overall, the food was good, and the server was friendly.

Food was phenomenal! I ordered the chicken plate and the meal itself, salad, falafel, and hummus were all excellent. Nice vibe on the inside too with pictures of Jerusalem and similar art.

I love it here! Everything is so flavorful and the man that is always there is so kind. I ordered the ultimate gyro and the sage tea (unlike anything I've ever tried-so delicious!) We are enjoying this at home tonight.

I’ve been really curious about their food so I picked it up to try. It was okay! It wasn’t very flavorful and the falafel was a bit dry and dense. The grape leaves were very good, but came with a sauce on the side that wasn’t vegan (probably tzatziki). There are better places for falafel around the city, but I don’t regret giving it a try!

Great food, would come back again for sure. I had the chicken platter and the green mint sauce was fantastic! Comes on either lettuce or rice, I got the rice and it was very good. Really enjoyed the little heart shaped falafels too!

Normally just get take out here but the food is delicious. The staff is so friendly. Their baba ganoush is smoky and delicious. I could eat it on everything. The shwarma is so flavorful and has great texture. This is a much try if you are craving a gyro.

Heart of Jerusalem is my favorite place to enjoy a delicious homemade authentic middle eastern meal, and relax with a cup of fresh hot Sage Tea from Jerusalem. And I always finish my meal with Mike’s homemade baklava, it’s the absolute best that I’ve ever tasted! Treat yourself, family and friends to Heart of Jerusalem and you’ll become a regular as well!

Incredible. 10/ 10 best gyro in my life and I don’t even like gyros.
