I've always loved the pimento cheese with the breads & spreads, but this last time I tried the fried pimento cheese appetizers and OMG... this is one item you must try! I also love the gumbo, which isn't served at many restaurants here and it's as good as New Orleans.
Made reservations for a Friday night around 7:00. Surprisingly was not busy at all. Food and service were perfect. Definitely recommend the fried green tomatoes. Sadly, I cannot remember the name of our server. Hope it’s not too weird, but another couple took a picture of her. If she’s your server expect very attentive service.
The first thing we noted was that the sign said wait for hostess to seat you, and there was no hostess. However, we were within eyeshot of the bar, where two male employees were working. One looked up from whatever work he was doing on one of the tables and then promptly went back to what he was doing.
