Tijuana Flats

We have been using to-go at the Lake Mary location for many years and I can count more times they screw up the order than they got it right. The quality of their products has also gone downhill. I don’t blame the workers, I blame management for allowing it to happen. Tijuana Flats filled for chapter 11 bankruptcy last year and closed a bunch of locations. No surprised! We are done with them. Tore up the to-go menu and through it in the trash.

Did on line order.. said would be ready at a certain time. 30 min later still waiting. Not the first time this happened. (Hoped first time was a fluke) asked the employees they didn't care they just said they are making the orders. If you offer take out either via online or face to face the estimated time needs to be close.. not this long.

Do NOT place a take out order. They will not touch it until all in person orders are done. I had a pick up time of 5:45 and a half hour later I still do not have it but my father in law has his food within ten minutes. There was one employee- missed her name but she was amazing. I’m editing this review to bump up my review one because of her.

Authentic Mexican bathroom. This bathroom is what you’d expect to find Tijuana.

No degree of polite staff makes up for being consistently slow. Go here if you don’t mind waiting at least half an hour for your food. By the time it’s ready, you won’t care that the tortillas are burnt and they forgot a side.

Walked in and stood at the cash register for 10-15 minutes . No one took my order . The staff was sitting at the tables eating. Not a greeting not a we will be right with you. Just a few head turns and back to eating .

I'll be sharing my experience with the city and state. I couldn't stay, it was a quick lunch, but the food was COLD. Not warm, COLD. I looked at the meat and its cooked, but cold. Which tells me made prior and reheated. How long prior, I don't know. But this place needs investigated by the state. How do you serve food that is supposed to be hot, COLD. I'm sorry, but please do not offer me a re-visit, Its not deserved. I ordered two chicken enchiladas and two hard shell tacos. The enchiladas were a tad warm and I though, eh, maybe its me. Then as soon as I grabbed one of the tacos the shell felt cold, then the MEAT!. Please avoid this place. Sad, I live 1/4 down the street too.

I love Winter Springs, i've lived here almost 25 yrs. We deserve better places than this. Its really sad when you have to say McDonalds is a better option because at least their food is warm...

I probably have reviews for so many Tequana Flats! This location is one of my favorites. It's in like a modern downtown kinda feeling. Food is always amazing! Taco tuesday is the best!

Very Disappointing went on 8-4-24 spent $35 had dos-tacos and chips the shells and chips were very stale the tacos barely had any beef filling ( i was there 3 weeks ago and it was good tacos had full beef in them) noticed a new manager maybe thats why trying to skimp out and make more profit, well i been going there for over 20 years and now im done. there are other taco places to go around there.
