We took a field trip for more than 1.5 hour. We order a lot of food. We were so excited. The Roulade special, was cold and tastes less, the Bauerwourst cold and the Curry Bratswurst also cold. Pastries, we got German chocolate, it wasn't authentic very sweet, the scones were good, Poppy seed Square was good. The Brotchen not good. I got baguette good, pretzel good, the sourdough very disappointed, no density, no flavor at all, and was very light and burnt. Oh coffee taste burnt also. The outside bench were great, and the singer very entertaining.

Great atmosphere out on the patio for a coffee or lunch. Service was fairly slow, even though it was not crowded. A little pricey on sandwiches for the quality of whatâs provided. Cheesy pretzel rolls were very good, but the apple strudel left a lot to be desired. Will visit again and see how things go.

I went there for the first time and the people who work there are very rude and the food I ordered and took home to enjoy which I only live 10 minutes away first bite I had to spit out I didn't want to take a chance of getting sick yeah it may smell good but I think any sandwich they make are not fresh, I took it back to get a refund and the owner blamed me for the way it tasted and she told me to leave well when I left anyone going in I told them the food here is awful

Good afternoon- I normally do not post but I wanted to share my experience at the Yalaha Bakery today. Iâm new to the area and had passed this bakery a couple of times. My boyfriend and I decided to go there today. The desserts looked delicious and we were excited. We ordered chicken salad sandwiches to go as it was busy and we were in a hurry. When our food was ready, it came out on plates. My boyfriend told the lady waiting on us it was a to-go order. She mentioned to another worker that people arenât checking the tickets. She handed us two boxes and we left. When we arrived home, we discovered it was the wrong order. I called the restaurant. I told the lady we received the wrong order and I wouldnât be able to get it for an hour. First she stated that we picked up the wrong order which I corrected her. I told her the food was handed to us. She went on to insist that when I return in an hour, to bring the wrong order back to the restaurant. I found this odd because it becomes a safety risk. She was very rude on the phone. I decided to call back and ask for the manager. I was transferred to the same lady. When she answered she stated she wasnât âjust a managerâ she was the owner and then proceeded to hang up the phone on me. So I took the food back (that had been in my possession for 1.5 hrs) and asked for the owner. It was the same lady that originally waited on us. She tried to hand me the food and rush me out. I told her I was really disappointed. Iâm new to the area and was excited to try the food. I didnât understand where the animosity towards me was coming from as it was their mistake and it was an inconvenience for me. It was a 45 min trip out of my day. I reiterated to her that she hung up on me and her response was you hung up on me(which was not true as I wanted to get her name). I told her I was also a business owner and would never imagine giving this type of customer service. She did absolutely nothing to remedy the situation. I took my food and left. Needless to say, the food looked delicious but we will never go back. Itâs one thing to receive bad customer service from an employee, but appalling to receive it from an owner. Thank you for listening to me vent.
