Stopped here today with my wife and nephew after spending some time at Barberville yard art. We were so looking forward to eating here but we were so disappointed with our food. It started out with them not having pretzels. Then they had no ice tea. They had no Goulash. My nephew ordered a bratwurst sandwich only to be told they were out of the pretzel buns that it came on. We all ordered French Onion soup. It came out barely warm in a styrofoam bowl . It tasted like the onions were cooked in some kind of chicken broth and you could not taste any hint of wine in the soup . When we finally got our food it was barely warm to cold.No one I know wants to eat barely warm schnitzel, spaetzle and a Ruben sandwich . We told them that is was not hot enough to enjoy eating it. So instead of making fresh food we got back microwaved mush. I would bypass the deli and go straight to the bakery. The bakery goods were delicious. But overall this was a very disappointing experience.— feeling disappointed.
When I was living in Florida, we would drive from Apopka to the bakery every few months. The bread was so delicious and moist and flavorful. So remembering all of that, I decided to order some breads to have shipped to me in Ohio. That’s one of the biggest mistakes I’ve made in a long time. I paid for expedited shipping which still took six days to get to me and by the time the bread was here it’s dry. And to top off it being dry, it was basically tasteless. That’s another Florida memory that’s now shot for me.
Best ruban I have ever had
The bakery items we got to go were absolutely delicious! Staff were very friendly. Will go back.

The treats looked amazing but don’t order a coffee. You’ll get a cup full of attitude from the staff. Super rude and uncomfortable environment. I won’t be going back.

My wife and I really liked the items that’s available the bakery. Quite frankly, the service the last few times we have been there has been subpar. Today we went there it was less than subpar. It was horrific. We were blatantly ignored by the staff.. There was no organization or urgency to take care of your patrons. One person on the counter taking care of customers to get them in and out is inexcusable Especially when you had at least 10 people in the back of the house. My wife and I love supporting mom and pop businesses. We will not be supporting yahala bakery anymore.

Peanut butter, chocolate chip and gingerbread with apricot cookies were all dry. Gingerbread cookie was hard on one side. Disappointed that these were not fresh at all.
Always a stop of mine when plant buying in Apopka!! 💖
