Black Cat is my families go-to pizza spot. We’ve been in the Yulee area for a year and tried almost all of the pizza spots in Yulee and Fernandina Beach. The pizza is constantly great, the staff has always been friendly, and the atmosphere is very family friendly. They have board and card games to entertain you while you wait for your food. The pizza was excellent & we were able to get it half & half. I had lemonade & it was very good. Usually it can be too sweet but wasnt. Waitress came by multiple times to check on us. They had a stack of boxes you get get your own for leftovers & not have to wait. You pay when you order so was easy when finished.
We ordered the Hawaiian - the ladies loved it! - and a Pepperoni pizza, both of which were topped with plenty of fixings. The bottoms were “crispier” than you will find at any of the large pizza chains, and that was also really enjoyed. The staff was very attentive, even though they were moderately busy at the time. Plenty of distractions and space provided for families with toddlers. I just wish I would have brought my never used cassette tapes, to create some new wall...
