We decided to give this place a try for my brother birthday dinner last night. At first we were confused as there was no buffet. The waiter was nice and explained it was the restaurants “soft opening”. The entire experience was a disappointment. My biggest concern from the entire experience is I was SERVED RAW CHICKEN ! I took a bite out of my wing and knew immediately something was wrong. I spit it into a napkin and looked down at the wing to see BLOOD ! The wing was almost completely RAW. I went straight to the bathroom because I thought for sure I was about to puke. When I came back my husband and brother was checking everyone else’s plate including our children’s chicken. Luckily mine was the only plate that was raw. The waiter took my plate and offered to have it remade. I refused as my appetite was gone. She truly felt bad. The cook then came out to apologize which we appreciated. I explained serving raw chicken is a big deal and should be treated as such. He also explained it was their first day. I felt as if the bar was the main priority. Many of issues occurred and I will gladly explain my concerns if the manager or owner would like to reach out to me. I was understanding with the staff and did not cause a big scene. It was very clear the operation was unorganized.

First visit at 1:30pm on a Tuesday. All buffet items were fresh and delicious! The owners are very nice and care about good customer service. Thanks for a great experience!

No changing tables in the bathroom.

Service was ok. Took awhile to get drink order and another while to get food order. The buffet was limited and some of the items were not fresh. The pizza was HORRIBLE! I took one bite and couldn’t even chew it and had to immediately spit it out. It’s as though I was biting into a hard stale play dough type crust. I’ve never tasted anything like it. Salad bar was decent that’s what I mainly filled up on as the other options were not appetizing. I always give every thing one chance but I definitely won’t be coming back here again. ?

I've been waiting awhile to try this place because their hours don't typically mesh with mine. Unfortunately the only hope I had left for any decent BBQ on the island went up in smoke with them. I think the BBQ had great potential, but it was hard to tell because they drowned it in whatever random sauce they chose. Highly recommend leaving the sauce off and letting the customer choose what kind and how much, or toning down much so you can actually taste something other sauce. Also, something I've learned I've the years of eating BBQ, typical chopped and sauced brisket means old brisket.

If you are going for Barbq maybe try somewhere else. The sandwiches come per sauced. There are no actual sauces to choose from.The pizza was around the quality of an off brand frozen pizza. The services was great the food was not.

$30 for the little bitty buffet is excessive and an extra $5 for crab legs. The food on the buffet was dried out and by the looks of the crab legs they were old and over cooked. The BBQ pulled pork is mustard based and full of fat.

Decided to give Island BBQ a try for their breakfast buffet, unfortunately it was a forgettable experience. Food was lukewarm, service was okay which is sad because my wife and I were the only ones in the place. Host and waitresses weee more focused on phones. Eggs were not held at the buffet line so the cook very kindly let us know she would make fresh ones for us but they sat under the kitchen lights until I had to ask the waitress if she could hand them to us. Staff was completely unaware of the food sitting waiting to be delivered to our table. We had pretty much finished the other items before we received the eggs. Being the only people in the restaurant you would think we would have been overwhelmed by the service, unfortunately we can second to phones and shooting the breeze. As the old adage goes, you only get one chance to make a great first impression.

Taste Comfort food. Staff polite and attentive. Thanks for a wonderful meal. Definitely recommend this establishment for your local dining and entertainment

Seafood buffet.
Crab legs were fantastic ?
I had 7 clusters 2 servings of Baked beans (Yummy)
2 Corn on the Cob 2 servings of Creamy corn. All very good.
The Chocolate cake was OK.
My wife had 1/2 pound of Crab legs, fried Shrimp (dry and over cooked) Fish, Baked beans, Macaroni and cheese,Mashed potatoes and gravy, Chocolate cake and sliced Peaches.
Over all we really enjoyed our meal. We waddled out of there.

First off the place does not live up to the name Island bbq, because where was the bbq and what island cause baby the food was trash . I know everyone has different taste buds but god-lee . The chicken was tough, the crab legs was cold , bake beans taste like suagr ,the butter for the crab legs was not real and that was cold . Heck all the food was luke warm ( and i use the term luke very , very lighetly . and on top of that for 3 people the buffet total to$96.00 are you kidding me !!!! Never again . I should've went to golden corral .

I really enjoy the food. So many different options on the buffet & on the menu. We wanted to try everything. We ended up doing the buffet & the following week. We ordered a pizza & wings. Everything was perfect.
