Chef Pepe was very nice and it pains me to write a bad review. I was so excited for our reception dinner because of the multiple conversations I had had prior to the reception with Chef Pepe. We ordered and paid for 3 white fish entrees (we were told it would be Mahi or sea bass), we were given a tray full of so many white fish but they tasted like a cheap frozen white fish. We ordered mushroom chicken Marsala, we got what appeared to be fried Salisbury steak with a brown gravy - NO MUSHROOMS IN SIGHT. The broccoli was mushy, but we allowed the caterer to have access to the venue to cook the broccoli specifically so it wouldn't be mushy. It was clearly frozen broccoli from a bag because of the way it was chopped into tiny pieces and tasted frozen. The ceasar salad was very good, but we ran out before everyone got some. We paid for enough food for 60 people and only had 43 people, so it's insane that the salad ran out. The rolls were okay, but they were clearly not made fresh. We paid for the plates, utensils, and napkins but weren't given any even after we specified that we wanted the plates utensils and napkins.
The bartender was very nice, but she literally had to be told how to make a vodka martini... When guests ordered bourbon, she poured them quadrupel shots (not exaggerating). The guests were happy about that but the bourbon bottles were top shelf and very expensive. She was pouring drinks that would have cost a ton of money at a restaurant or paid bar.
We are very disappointed. I would give 1 star, but Chef seemed to work with us at first and the passed apps were decent. The shrimp cocktail shots were in cups too thin and tall to even dip the shrimp in the cocktail sauce. We could have saved so much money by just going to Walmart ourselves and making the same quality food.

*Edit to add- this was a 2 star review but then I remembered the bread. We paid for focaccia bread and assorted bread. We got store bought rolls and TEXAS TOAST WITH EVERYTHING BAGEL SEASONING THROWN ON. I hate everything bagel seasoning, THAT IS NOT WHAT I PAID FOR. It was disgusting. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement, I am livid.

Chef Pepe and Tie the Knot were great! From "soup to nuts" the planning and execution of my organization's investor event was great (even when we had an unexpected RSVP from a hurricane which forced a reschedule last minute). Chef was very accommodating, the presentation was good, the portions were great, and the feedback from my attendees was exceptional. Thank you, Chef Pepe!

I would suggest feeding wedding guests TV dinners over his food . So horrific, no one liked it AT ALL. He made frozen vegetables, pasta and sauce that had to be from a box .. it was and embarrassment to the beautiful wedding, not to mention the food stayed out for maybe 30 minutes and then he took half the prime rib the bride and groom paid for .. cook it yourself is a better choice

if you like tasteless food, where the chef looks angry to be there, then you've found the right caterer! Terrible. If i could leave negative stars then i would. no body liked the food.
