This was my first time here and the owner was there interacting with regulars on a personal level. Ppl that grew up there know him well. Service was above satisfactory. Food was cook promptly and tasted like momma makes it. 5 star all the way around

I had not been to the original 2 minute egg. Went yesterday......disappointed. Every time I have been there previously the portions were big. I always order the fried chicken, which has always had large pieces, yesterday it looked more like fried pigeon. Even the taste was lacking. I.have previously told the owner that he has "the best fried chicken" around. Now I am not so.sure. no longer do you automatic get ice cream when you finish your meal, only certain meals include ice cream. Even the ice cream I received was barely two tablespoons. The original two minute egg was an eatery that was high on my.list, but no.longer. I intend to try the hew location, and sure hope the food and ambiance are good. I will say the service was good.

Worse service yet, placed a order on the app. Each sandwich should have been labeled to whose they are. that wasn't done no receipt, and they're just all thrown together. Like hog slop.

Nothing fancy , but delicious! Food was like homemade . We had pork chops and a fish platter both fried and battered perfectly . Drove by it many times since I moved here from polk in August. Glad we stopped in and will be back. Server was very friendly and kept our drinks full

It took me less than 2 minutes to realize what a mistake I made coming here. Just look up when you sit down and see how filthy it is. If they can’t take care of the front of the house imagine how bad the back is. Yikes.
Bland, unseasoned food is what is served here and used to be somewhat reasonable prices but their prices have increased 3 times in less than 2 yrs and frankly the food is not worth their latest increase up to $14 to $16. The last baked potatoe I had there had a really awful taste. They replaced it but the second one also had same awful weird taste. Had to get a different type. They serve only canned veggies or boxed instant potatoes. No variety on the veggies...one type per day...and very very bland. Hardly ever have non fried meal entrees like roasted chicken. Go to Sonnys for that, theirs is delicious.
