The comfort of the food matched the atmosphere!! The owner spent time with each and everyone in the restaurant… saying that, we found a hidden 💎 Authentic Mom and Pop… definitely worth the trip!

Great Italian restaurant. The food is very good. Like the northend in Boston

Mixed bag. Super casual. Kinda old. Chicken Marsala sauce was sugar sweet. Kinda Gross. Tried someone’s pizza and it was excellent. Waitress was great.

This place is amazing!! Very old school, the owner comes around to each table to inquire about you and your meal. Very wonderful food and service. It's worth the drive, will be back!❤️

Customer service was AMAZING! Super friendly greeting. Warm lighting for a cool dining experience. Don’t be scared to order take out.. They reinforce the larger “family” orders with a cardboard box bottom to ensure safe travels home.
Pizza was GREAT!! Dough was made not thawed and pizza was full of great topping portions. Don’t forget to grab a cannoli for dessert. The stuffing was super creamy with mini chocolate chips inside.
Only cons, I Was not a fan of the pasta.. spaghetti sauce has a peculiar taste. Like Chef Boyardee vibes you can’t remove from your childhood memories! Meatballs tasted full of fillers.. could’ve used more meat.

This place sure has changed since having new owners. It was many years since we ordered from there and it’s definitely not the same. Calzones we downhill and when it was delivered no sauce was included. Who eats a calzone dry….nobody

Awesome hidden gem of Italian food. Mom and Pop style restaurant. One can tell this is made from scratch, not some canned food. Rikki came by the table often enough to be useful and not annoying. Will be visiting again.

Great food! Quaint atmosphere.
The Eggplant Parmesan is my favorite.
The Pizza and oven items are fantastic.
However, call ahead.
Especially if you desire a certain dish.
Sometimes they limit the menu.

Kid-friendliness: On the way home from Legoland our 4 year old requested spaghetti for his dinner. A quick Google search for pasta options in the area led me to piccola Italia. I placed an online order for a kid’s spaghetti and I decided on a chicken parm for myself. When we arrived we were a little surprised to find a food truck but were greeted by friendly faces and we could see inside a spotless kitchen and I could smell the freshness of the ingredients.
My husband had picked up Arby’s for himself and I could see jealousy on his face when I opened my massive dish. It’s was hands down the best chicken parm I’ve ever had. I ate my fill, shared some with my husband, and had plenty left for lunch the next day. My 4 year old devoured half of his generous portion and gladly gobbled the remainder for lunch.
It was not surprising when my husband suggested Piccola Italia for dinner the next night and he didn’t have to ask twice as I was excited to try another dish. This time he had the Italian sausage penne and I had penne pollo. Both dishes were made with fresh ingredients, rich in flavour and delicious.
I rarely write online reviews but felt Piccola Italia too good not to.
I’m a little sad we’re leaving town tomorrow as I’d definitely like to sample some more dishes.
If you’re in the area I’d highly recommend visiting. Prices are reasonable for the massive portions and fresh ingredients.
