Hidden little gem. Do not be deceived by the exterior. Food is fresh and made pretty quickly, service was great and ambiance was laid back and you can tell it was packed with regulars who were super friendly and inviting. Enjoyed my spontaneous visit.

Me and my father drove down from SC to renovate a barber shop and was looking for some breakfast. I was highly disappointed in the Sugar Shack. We did not feel welcome. The Pregnant hostess snapped at us when we asked for coffee then stared at us the entire time we were there. We finally just got up and left. Seem to get very quiet when we walked in. I will not be going to another sugar Shack and will definitely not recommend then to any family and friends that live in the area.

Fantastic spot, very friendly staff, Friday Fish Fry is great! They were very accommodating for my larger group with a 1yo, they do have a non- fish option if you've got a person or two in your group that doesn't want fish.

My family and I loved this place. My daughter and I experienced something this morning that will make me NEVER go back. While we're enjoying our breakfast, an older couple was allowed in with a small dog in a small carrier. No biggie for me except the dog was allowed to sit at the table. It's face was all over the table. It obviously wasn't a service animal as those rest at the owners feet. I used to enjoy the food but I just can't eat knowing there were dogs eating at my table. I'm a regular. Food is always wonderful. The prices are fair but I was amazed that the waitress that is serving me today is absolutely clueless on the menu. I had to remind her that she should ask me what kind of potatoes I want and I had to remind her that she should ask me what kind of toast I want so that was amazing that she was so clueless on the menu. She did indicate that she was new but to think that management would let her be on the floor without even advising her to remember to ask clients what kind of eggs they want and what kind of bread they want for their toast absolutely astounds me.

AMAZING. Having steak for breakfast always makes someone happy. Am definitely coming back 🤞 Steak was cooked perfectly medium rare, eggs were perfectly cooked. I could actually eat my steak without ketchup for once! Mixing runny eggs with grits and a lil salt is always amazing.

Hello, everyone. I've just started eating here at Suger Shack a few months now, even several times a week . Even our HAM RADIO CLUB eats breakfast here every Thursday morning. Personally, so far.
