AG Steakhouse went above and beyond expectations for a last minute lunch (party of 11)! From the moment we arrived we were treated like family. Our server Sam is a rockstar, she was attentive and caring for my entire family. The sushi and entrees were 5 star quality all day! I could not have scripted a better experience. Thank you.

This was our first time to the AG Steakhouse since it was converted. I cannot say enough good things about the whole experience. Julia, our server, was amazing. She was very friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back!!!

Our first visit was fabulous and the birthday dinner food was a disappointment. The Sea Bass was only ok and NY Strip was over cooked and a real disappointment! The only positive was 50% off wine that night.

We enjoyed a wonderful dinner for our Anniversary overlooking Lake Allatoona at sunset. All of the food was delicious, and service was wonderful.

Favorite restaurant! We both had seafood -- I had the grouper, my spouse had the seafood pasta -- both were excellent -- well prepared and beautifully presented. Our server was courteous and helpful and had a great sense of humor, but was not over-bearing or intrusive. All in all, a wonderful evening out -- dining overlooking the lake. We will return again and again.

A wonderful find right in Acworth GA. Upscale dinning to rival any restaurant in the Atlanta Metro area. And best it is just a quick drive in this part of Cherokee county. Food outstanding, flavor all over everything. Nice view of the lake and mariner.

We decided to eat at the outside area before the fireworks tonight Be careful ,when we received our bill there was a five dollar up charge for Tito‘s in my Cosmo that ended up being $19 and a extra 2 dollar charge for sweet potato fries that was supposed to be included with the burger per waitress

This place is great! Chad was our Server and he was super friendly, professional, knowledgeable on the menu, & gave great suggestions. Would’ve been lost on what all to try without his guidance. The ambience of the restaurant was extremely pleasing as well.

were part of the neighborhood. It wasn’t fancy, but that was the whole point. It had heart.

One of the things I still miss the most is their grilled mac and cheese balls. They were so good, crispy, melty, comforting, and just the right kind of indulgent. That one dish summed up what made the place special. Simple, a little creative, and totally satisfying.

Now though, it feels like a completely different place. The menu has changed, the prices have shot up, and the whole vibe is trying way too hard to be trendy. It’s all sleek design and curated cocktails, but it feels cold. The portions are smaller, the food isn’t as good, and most of the things that made the old menu great are just gone.

I get that places evolve, but this doesn’t feel like evolution. It feels like it got swept up in the gentrification wave and forgot who it was. I really miss the old Allatoona Grill. I miss being able to grab a comforting, affordable meal without all the gloss and pretense.

Bring back the grilled mac and cheese balls. Bring back the soul.
