Allatoona Grill

As someone who has recommended this place to every single person I’ve ever invited to Allatoona lake, I’m embarrassed that I’ve sent them there. We were treated like garbage by the guy who is, or thinks he is, the owner. They were great until they decided they needed a “5 star” restaurant next to a lake. The next time I decide I’m hungry enough to eat on the lake, I’ll eat my own shoe.

Very good food for a lakeside restaurant. Great drinks, service and views. A little odd having to valet with such a small parking lot, but overall a great experience.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Allatoona Grill/Steakhouse for our corporate meeting, and I must say, it exceeded all expectations. The food was amazing—each steak was perfectly cooked, juicy, and flavorful. The sides complemented the meal perfectly, and the desserts were simply divine. If you have a sweet tooth, try their cheesecake!

The ambiance was fantastic as well. They recently remodeled, and the fresh, modern décor adds a great touch to the dining experience. But what sets this place apart is the breathtaking view of Lake Allatoona. Whether you're there for a romantic dinner or a family outing, watching the sunset over the lake as you enjoy your meal is special.

Overall, AG Steakhouse has quickly become one of my favorite spots. From the outstanding food to the beautiful views, it's a must-visit if you're in the area!

Pulled up on the boat to grab a bite. This is a wanna be high end establishment. Cheap decor, yet super high end pricing on food and drinks. Sat and waited for 20 mins and yet still no service. Had to ask a passing waiter for water, waitress just completely ignored us. Raised hell as I walked out the door. Place is trash, over priced, seating worse than McDonalds, very pretentious vibes. Been on this water all my life and never stopped at this restaurant, now I know why. Gotta trust that gut... Will definitely never go back even with new management. You could eat like a king anywhere else for a 5th the price and have better service I'm sure. No cloth for your lap, just a cheap thin napkin. The very first mistake in fine dining etiquette. ?

Nick is the man! The best bartender. He gave wonderful menu suggestions and takes great care of his customers. 10/10

I didn't expect such an upscale place. Big windows on the lake side of the building with a great view of the lake and Marina, also the RR bridge. Great service. I had the Scallops and wife had Grouper. But I think really anything you'd order would be awesome. Have a boat or not. If you're looking for a place to have a quiet dinner this is the place.

The food was AMAZING. Everyone was beyond happy with their orders. The customer service was impeccable. The free mimosas for ladies were much appreciated after a morning on the lake. The bread pudding dessert was the highlight for sure! This place is well worth the drive and the cost! Thank you for having us.

We had the most wonderful meal at Allatoona Grill !! ( also known as AG Steakhouse ). Our server, Cayla, was very professional, friendly and attentive. The menu has many excellent choices & we had the Lamb Chops and the Herb Snapper. Entrees were served hot & well presented, cooked exactly to order and delicious ! The Mushroom Ragot was exceptional and the French Onion soup was very flavorful with an almost silken texture that made it the best we've ever had. I would love to give this place 5 stars, but unfortunately we chose to sit outside of the covered deck . The amount of flies was ridiculous when we started eating our food. I didn’t see any measures to control these flying pest. On a positive note, the food was excellent. Perhaps if we had sat in the covered deck area with the fans, it wouldn’t have been so bad, but I’m unsure. The flies ruined a good experience at this place. I would suggest that they use some outside fans to perhaps deter some of the flies and definitely get some professional pest control equipment installed.

Such a very nice place, great Vibe, very classy and the food is great! The View by the water is exceptional in a great attraction. This place has valet and it is seamless getting in and out. Can't say enough about how nice it is. Pacific couldn't get any better we were served by Taylor who provided world-class service. They don't get any better than Taylor! She has served us Before And consistently provides great Service. Jonathan Also Assisted us And as well has exceptionally good service! Great servers. Thank you owners and management for Keeping such great people working here. Taylor you are awesome. Taylor, you are awesome!

I which I had please t things to say, however the silverware was dirty, service was slow, the manager was very rude, and the food was average, came out cold, and grossly overpriced.
