The waiter act like we were not up scale enough to be there, he took the silverware off the table that we wasn't using as if we were going to steal it or something. When we sat down he poured us water and said I quote", Do you want anything other than water or is this going to do for" you? I wouldn't recommend this place to anybody cause if you don't dress like money ,they treat you like you are a low life with no money ., and try to rush you out. They made me very angry and feel out of place. Zero Stars if that was an option!!!!

My husband and I went to the Allatoona Grill last evening and it was our first time since the redesign and reopening. So glad we went! We just did drinks and appetizers, but are looking forward to going back for more. Kenzie (GREAT server) brought us calamari that is a definite recommend and a beautiful tray of oysters. They also happened to have one of our favorite beers on tap (Allagash White). The couple next to us said they searched for “romantic place to have dinner in our area” and AG came up (and they are from Marietta!). They were so happy to have come there to celebrate their 37th anniversary. We’ll be coming back as well for sure.

If you haven’t been to the Allatoona Grill lately, then you haven’t been to the Allatoona Grill. This is a whole new experience from what used to be here (which was its own brand of fun). A rare fine dining experience in Acworth and north of the city, it manages to blend upscale food with just the right touch of casual. Pair with that an amazing sunset view lakeside and I’m not sure what more you could want. Kenzie took care of us and I’d certainly include her as part of what made our evening special. As a new resident (we just got a slip at the Marina), we look forward to many wonderful visits.

Phenomenal food!!! Sushi, ceviche, lobster bisque, pecan encrusted trout and Mediterranean Sea bass!! All 10 out of 10! Wonderful wine and cocktail selections too. Waitress was average for the amount of money we spent...nothing major, just expected more service for how fancy and amazing quality everything else was. Thankfully there was a great 2nd waiter who popped over to check on us and gave us great advice! We will be back! Keep up the great work! Excited to try The Deck when open ?

We support local businesses 100% and that is the reason we chose to visit this restaurant. We took our two daughters in for lunch. Didn’t understand much about what they had to offer and haven’t heard anything. We are halfway greeted by a host behind a pretty wood epoxy counter. She seats us, brings us menus. Within 3-4 minutes we realized it was not the foods we were in the mood for. No server had visited us, no drink orders.We revisited the counter and said, we’ll come back another time, thank you so much but we’re going to pass today on dining in. The young lady behind the counter, kicked her face up sideways at us, and turned into a cynical, nasty acting thing.We drove through a run down trailer park right before getting here and she treated us like we were garbage.She acted like garbage. We won’t revisit now.

Wanted to try something different so took my mother to dinner tonight. This place was rather bazaar…Honestly our dinner was ok but not worth the price but the real entertainment was the staff… It was like no one knew what they were doing. I watched a table of around 7 or 8 people receive their food and one guy said what they gave him wasn’t correct and they took his plate away then they started picking up other plates walking around the table trying to figure out what went where. The lady I assume she is a manager/owner brought part of our food out and didn’t even know what it was. The young girl (hostess) I think is the only person who checked on us but if you asked her anything she would tell you she didn’t know that she was just the hostess yet she continued to go around and ask if everything was okay. As we are leaving I came out of the restroom and the same lady is chasing guests outside yelling at them. I then realized I left my receipt and quickly ran back to grab it. As I returned to the front door the lady is at the host stand talking to a bald gentleman loudly cussing using the f word. I’m not sure if this is the norm but if they want to be successful they need to do something about her.

Excellent place for steaks and seafood . Service is great !! Short wait times if u call ahead . Ambiance is just right !! Huge aquarium of saltwater fish to look at in the waiting area . Overall it's the best place for lunch or dinner !!!

Been waiting for the rebuild as our boat is there and office is around the corner. We were very frequent patrons before the rebuild, and loved loved loved the old place. Went for brunch Saturday with large family party. We were first ones in, we were sat against back wall and kitchen, when every window table was open. Very surprised at new pricing mentality. It just doesn’t match the offering, yet. Over $400 ticket with forced 20% tip, when food was delivered sporadically to table over 20 minutes. And after 3 or 4 mistakes, finally got everything ordered after 20 minutes from first dish being delivered. When restaurant demands forced tip, server has no accountability to provide experience. Never a smile. Never “I’m sorry” from server. The entire staff just hung out and watched the cluster at our table and no one chipped in to help. $72 tip was added, when I would have normally tipped well over $100 for a great experience. Seems like a culture issue. We’ll chalk this up to growing pains. But the experience was a 2 out of 10. Disappointing. We’ll give them some time to figure out their new brand, big shift from old one.

Kenzie was great! She did an amazing job! She is knowledgeable, patient and communicated effectively. We had an amazing meal and her recommendations were spot-on. We can’t wait to come back and continue trying everything on the menu.
