Food was bland, except the marinara sauce had some heat but no other flavor. Meatballs were over worked and texture was unpleasant. Sauce was very watery and would not adhere to pasta. Deep fried ravioli were crispy but had no flavor in filling.
But service was nice, as were our cocktails.
Price seems a bit high compared to the food quality we were served.

The food and ambience were great. I have to leave off a star because the men’s restroom facilities were well below the standard of the rest of the restaurant (paper products out of stock, used paper towels cluttering the sink, one of the walls was… nasty). My friends and I had a great visit regardless.

We found metal in our food. The seafood pasta had to be picked apart to take the shells and tails off the seafood. The pizza was okay but we will not be returning.

I am giving it a three star rating because of the price. They are WAAAAYYYYY too expensive for the Acworth area. We have been there before and the food is good, but prices have jumped through the roof. Average pasta price is $18. That would be tolerable IF the dinner came with a salad, but it does not. Salads are extra, about $7 to $8 more. And I paid $7 for a cup of coffee and a tea.
I'm guessing we are not alone in this thought because, on a busy Saturday night meal time, there were only 6 other people in the restaurant. Not a good sign.
Unless they reduce their prices to match other local Italian restaurants, we won't be back.

Never get to try..? The restaurant look very nice and busy inside but I think is important to take care you customers and make sure how along you take to make one pizza.
I don't know if I want to came back one day.

When choosing a place to eat, we try to pick a locally owned restaurant when we can. So tonight we decided to get takeout from Doro’s. When paying I asked the manager why it is that when dining in garlic knots are given at the table and when you do carry out you are charged for garlic knots.(tonight dry and seem to be from yesterday) The manager replied that it in an incentive for you to dine in. So therefore there is no incentive for me to choose you over all the other restaurant in the area to get takeout. Upon arriving home with my almost 70$ meal for 3. The full salad seemed small, the garlic knots are dry and almost stale. The entrees were stack on each other like pancakes leaking into the bag. My lasagna with all the cheese stuck to the top of the container is just not good. In closing, Doro’s has always been really good and we have enjoyed it for many years. But tonight you have failed me. I will give you another try but it will be a while. This review probably will not matter to you, but I hope it helps you in the future

I got delivery and it was straight up.. bad. The pizza crust tastes like playdough. The sauce is actually good which made it that much more disappointing because it had potential. Instructions weren’t followed for toppings to be on 1/2. And the spinach dip is odd. It’s okay, but it’s like thick milk? Definitely not normal spin art dip. Unfortunately Uber eats doesn’t see bad food as a reason to refund so I just wasted $55
They are part of our family, the service is awesome, and the food is top-notch. They take pride in the service and preparation of the food.
