Stopped by for lunch with a colleague. At first glance, the restaurant looked a little run down. Big chips in the floor, dark, bathroom looked a little rough. Ordered the meatloaf and told by the waitress that they were out…not off to a good start. Ordered lemon pepper wings. Wings were flavorful but the carrots and celery that came with were warm to hot, which I did not like. Our waitress provided good service, food came out quickly and she did a nice job of keeping our glasses...
Staff was efficient, quickly seated and tended to. Atmosphere is great, very friendly and filled with people enjoying the sports game. The cooks ran out of a product that was ordered by another table and they personally came out and apologized and helped them find a new order they would enjoy. I've always had a good time at gustons. Tuesday night was trivia night and unlike the majority of the bars trivia is usually overpowering, here it wasn't. I could carry on with conversations around me without yelling. The food was good, highly recommend the dirty bird sandwich. Come hungry.
