I’ve been coming here for over 20 years. Every birthday, anniversary or any special occasion has always been here. A few months ago I got two bowls of gumbo to go and found 3 large roux balls (pretty much just a ball of icky flour) in the gumbo that was extremely off-putting. With gumbo being my favorite food & Henry’s being my favorite restaurant, I’ve given it several more chances, only to find the gumbo pretty dry, flavorless and a much smaller, but still a roux ball...
Fantastic experience! Awesome atmosphere. Big menu with lots of options. Everything on it slams. You can pick anything at random and be completely satisfied. The food here is just really outstanding.
The food was phenomenal. This place is everything you want from a Louisiana style restaurant. You get beads, great food and great service. TVs for watching games and atmospheric music. Great value for the dollar.
