We got our drinks then waited an hour to get our order taken. They never even came again. After waiting the hour, I heard a waitress bragging that today was an exceptionally slow Sunday.
I simply raised my hand, asked for the check for my mom's sweet tea, and asked to leave.

We just had lunch there and it was fab!! I ordered the pork plate with hush puppies( not served a lot anymore at other places), fried okra and coleslaw and it was the best coleslaw I ever had! Hubbie ordered the brisket plate and let me tell you, it was super juicy and flavourful, yummie!!
Hadyn was our server and she was quick, super friendly, we had a great time at JD's

Sunday Brunch Buffet was beyond great and fat met my expectations.
Really tired of the garbage to go service. Always missing sauces or sides. I even gave it another chance tonight only to have a dry, cold potato. I’d rather have a bowl of cereal than this. Waste of money these days

The waitress was really nice, Mac & cheese skillet with chicken was delicious, brisket could’ve used a little more seasoning. Fired green tomatoes were too salty. My husband loved the Hawgfather spud.
The brisket was amazing, and the fried corn is a must have.

Absolutely amazing staff and food! I’m not much of a BBQ person AT ALL but we decided to try this place as a quick dinner choice and it did not disappoint! The staff was amazing, quick, and friendly! The owner/manager gave out free samples of the fresh prime rib they were having a special for and even held our son when he noticed us taking turns eating/holding baby. I had the brisket Mac skillet and the serving was huge for both the meat and the Mac and cheese (homemade btw) the brisket practically melted in my mouth!! You can even see him bring in the fresh meat in the dining area! Kind people, fresh food, quick service! 10/10 recommendation
