The food was quite good! I had one of the loaded potatoes with pork, cheese, coleslaw and bacon bits and it was great and very tasty. My friend and I shared a appetizer of fried pickles and they were great had a taste of pepper. The service was great. The atmosphere was special as it was in a repurposed School House so the original wood floors and beaded board wall panels were all interesting. If you're in the area it would be worth the time to stop for a meal!

This is oh delish! We had the beef brisket, collard greens , Mac n cheese, okra , and banana pudding for dessert! OMG they were scrumptious! The building has so much character being an old schoolhouse ! Will be back very very soon …. You will not be disappointed!!
The kids pork sandwich at Jim n Nicks has about twice the meat of a regular sandwich at JDs and at Jim n Nicks it's cheaper and you get a side item and a drink

Excellent food and service. Will definitely be back.Parking: Only one way in and out, but parking on 3 sides of the building makes getting in and out confusing but not terrible.
This place used to be great, but it's slowly going downhill. Our fries were obviously previously frozen, the glass cups are gone (replaced with cheap plastic), the ribs were very fatty last time and my order was incorrect. It seems like the value and quality just isn't there anymore. Plus, why would I pay to eat at a sitdown restaurant that uses frozen food?
