Few if any "regular" checkout registers are open in this store. A new, not user friendly system is now in place, forcing you to use it IF you want to buy your groceries. Like so corporations, the only thing important to them is the net profit, Not their customers. Not one, but two employees had to help me with the checkout system, which they admitted is flawed and has been since installation a month ago (July 2023). I abhor the prices at Publix, but this kind of CUSTOMER NO CARE is going to force me to use them. I just moved from Canton to Acworth, thought this Kroger would be great, as it's close by. Boy was I wrong!

I purchased an Xbox gift card from Acworth Kroger for my son's birthday. When he went to go and redeem it the next day it would not work. It said the funds were not there. I called Kroger with proof of my purchase and activation and they sent me to Kroger corporate and they confirmed I did purchase it and said the card was redeemed 1 minute after purchase and there was nothing they could do about it. So, This card was redeemed before I could have even made it to my car and loaded my groceries into my car. I am not sure how someone did this but it had to be redeemed by someone in that Kroger. What is the point of the proof of purchase when you purchase a gift card from them that is not good. I will never ever buy another giftcard from Kroger and I caution others not to either!!! Kroger was no help at all and didn't seem to care!

Some would have you believe that Kroger has lower prices. I can't speak to other locations, but check your register receipt carefully. I was in a hurry and did not monitor what the clerk was ringing up and paid for it.The Coke products rang up at a different (higher) price than the shelf was labeled. The clerk entered the wrong number of another item and overcharged me.I won't return to this location.

If you have the new Georgia Driver's License, don't buy alcohol here. Takes over 5 minutes to call a manager over and for the manager to do his thing.
