La Parrilla Mexican Restaurant - Acworth, GA

Quesadilla de Birria was excellent. My son special ordered rice with chicken, steak, and shrimp. The steak was the best we have had at any restaurant. It was very tender. Vitelio is a great waiter. We didn't have to ask for anything. The restaurant has a very nice atmosphere and is tastefully decorated. We will be back again.

Been going here for many years. Always good in the past, but last night, food was awful. I ordered my favorite, Mango chicken. Sauce was way too salty. Chicken was not tender. Worst experience I have had at any restaurant. I have been a regular here for years, but will not go back

I absolutely love La Parrilla. I think the food and pricing is on point. Servers are almost all super and it's so fast to get your meal.

I ordered Grilled Chicken Nachos and it had zero taste. The chicken was the size of tenders and the peppers and onion weren't sliced. The food was 0/10 but the service was good.

I had the worst experience dining here. The food is extremely mediocre for the price. Our server Carlos did not make the experience any more enjoyable. He looked as if he did not want to be there. He was very rude and unprofessional. He didn’t explain anything at all for it being our first time dining here. I at least thought the service would make up for the food. I will not be returning again.

La PARRILLA is a good staple, Mexican choice, especially when we can’t figure out where to eat. They have consistently good service, which is appreciated. I like to keto it simple - I order the regular crunchy hamburger tacos every time, which are always great (not so good for leftovers tho!) I didn’t care for the chicken bowl, it had a during cumin flavor which I don’t like. Husband ordered the nachos which he says were ok. Free chips/ salsa are excellent. I also had a strawberry agua fresca smoothie which was good.

Dietary restrictions: Good option for those who need to leave off or substitute our ingredients they cannot have. Bring gluten free, Mexican works well with the corn chips and corn tortillas

Delicious food. Good service. Lots of vegetarian options. The lunch bowls are so good. I love that they have sweet plantains here. Definitely recommend.

Parking: Their section of the shared parking lot is too small for this very busy restaurant so you often have to park at Publix.

Amazing food and service as
always from Vitelio, who had served us more than once. The most recent time, we hosted my daughter’s birthday dinner there. Friends and family loved the food. Service was attentive and prompt. The manager Etienne even came and checked on us. We all ordered a variety of food—seafood burrito, steak taco with plantain which was delicious, enchilada, fajita, taco salad which were all great. It was a weekday that had beer special—great deal. Overall, great experience every time and would visit again.
