On a very busy night I was impressed with the service provided. We were seated to wait, and i saw one of the hostesses take care of her self very well and keep composure. Once we got seated our waiter was very kind, and hospitable. Would recommend this location.

I had a really uncomfortable experience at this Mellow Mushroom. While I was there, the manager, Ashley, was openly yelling at an employees, hosts and servers in front of customers. It was loud, tense, and completely unprofessional. No one deserves to be spoken to like that, especially on the floor where guests can see and hear everything. The food and atmosphere are usually what bring people to Mellow Mushroom, but that moment completely ruined the vibe. Watching a manager berate an employee made it hard to enjoy being there at all. Leadership sets the tone, and this was not the kind of environment customers or employees should be subjected to. I hope ownership takes this seriously and addresses how staff are treated. Respect should be the bare minimum.

MM had their restaurant beautifully decorated for the holidays! The elevated cobb salad was delicious too!
My visit to Mellow Mushroom started promisingly. I began with the Enlightened Spinach Salad, which was excellent. The combination of dried cherries, apples, glazed pecans, and sheep's milk feta was truly enjoyable.
Unfortunately, everything went downhill with the main course. My medium pepperoni pizza arrived not only misshapen (in an odd oval form) but also very poorly sliced. The cuts were incomplete, making it impossible to actually remove a slice.
When I brought this to the staff's attention, the experience became frustrating. The bartender refused to provide a pizza wheel, insisting the pizza had to be taken back to the kitchen. After waiting at my table with no follow-up, I attempted to carry the scorching hot pan to them myself and burned my finger.
I then had to find my server to complain a second time, only to be met with a refusal to simply cut the pizza properly. In the end, I left without my meal. What began as a minor issue exposed a shocking lack of customer care and problem-solving from the team. Remember to bring your pizza wheel or go to one of the other many pizza establishments in the area.

Mellow Mushroom didn’t disappoint!! Our server Kelly was the best. We tried the White Rabbit Pie and officially have a new favorite. The holiday decorations were an added plus❄️

We had a magical time with delicious food at Mellow Mushroom Acworth this week. It is Elf themed for Christmas and absolutely adorable. It really brings out the magic of the season. The pizza was delicious as always too! You need to go check it out.
