The food was terrible. Stale tortilla chips, old baked potatoes reused for potato skins. Old rice pilaf. The saving grace was our server. Lovely blonde lady. No one caught her name. She really busted her hump trying to make it better for us. I don't remember a manager stopping by, or I would have complimented her to them. She went above and beyond for us. It was supposed to be a birthday dinner, and we left hungry.

I ordered the top sirloin with a side plain baked potato and asparagus. The waitress informed me that they were out of regular potatoes but had plenty of mashed potatoes and fries as an alternative. I chose to change my side to rice, and waited for my meal to arrive. My girlfriend received her meal and I told her to begin eating, not to wait on my food to arrive. Shortly after, my steak, requested medium rare, arrived burnt and beyond well done. They took the plate back for approximately 15 minutes and the 2nd steak was raw. By the time they got my my 3rd steak, which was still far from exceptional, my girlfriend was finished eating, and the sides were pitifully cold and bland. The rice seemed to have been days old, and the asparagus no better as it was extremely wilted. I just had my meal removed from the bill and left the restaurant hungry. I immediately went through the drive thru next door at Chick-fil-A as the whole dining experience was disastrous and I still needed to eat. Despite never getting the correct, well cooked meal, the whole process took nearly 2 hours, quite pathetic considering the outcome. The manager offered us $10 off coupon that must be redeemed on our next visit within 10 days; since I don't plan to return I left without the coupons.

I like this restaurant, but the problem is they keep closing their locations. So, the reason I gave two stars on service, is because I can’t get service if you’re not open. If you’re open, the service is good!I live in Woodstock and they closed the Woodstock location and the Kennesaw location at the same time, several years ago. You would think they would close one and see if there was an improvement in sales at the other location, before closing it, since they were so close together. Now, just recently in 2023, they closed the Marietta location on Sandy Springs Rd., which I only went to if I was in the area. This is sad. I guess this restaurant is slowly going out of business. I can’t drive all the way over to the location on Rt 41 in Acworth, to go to one of their remaining restaurants still open and use my gift card. It’s not worth it. Good luck!

I wished I had taken the pictures !!mad at myself for that!!Drove down from Cartersville to meet family for Father's Day !!There were not a lot of customers we were there from 5 till 730. There were still not a lot of people when we left! This was the worst place I've eaten in a long time. 4 people ordered the Salmon it was small and dried out, 1 kid ordered a cheeseburger plain.. this burger looks like it was sitting there all-day The kid took a bite and said she couldn't eat it. The waitress got a new one and she ate it. I ordered just a baked potato it was not done. The poor waitress kept saying she was sorry but it wasn't her fault! She did the best she could do.again it was not her fault. We tried to complain about the food . But the waitress said they were too busy!! I don't think I've ever eaten at a place this bad. I could understand one thing wrong but 6 dinners. I'm surprised they are still open!!Again it was not the waitresses fault!!Wanda

Was very nice. It had been a long time since I have been here and the experience was very pleasant. Only negative was the veggies in my pasta could have been cooked longer. Waitress was lovely. Seemed like they were doing a 60's hippie theme and that was great.

Very dated, has an awful smell when you walk in the restaurant. Our waitress was fairly new but she handled the situation well. Rolls came out fresh and hot. Probably the best part of the entire meal. Our food took a very long time to come out. My husband ordered an appetizer trio and I got the fish and chips. The appetizers were a bit over cooked. My fish and chips were not cooked well, and it was super greasy.Been here a few times, but it's consistently gotten lower in quality. Will not be going back.EDIT:I was invited back by the GM.Overall, service is great. The rolls were as delicious as always, and the drinks were made very well.Tried something different, steak and crab cakes and my husband got the buffalo chicken sandwich. There wasn't any problem with food coming out late or any apparent issue with food being cooked incorrectly. There are other things I'd like to elaborate on but I'll leave it here and say they get an A for effort. I appreciated their approach on trying to give me a better experience.

I’ve tried for 6 months with this location mostly bc flashback 3-5 years ago, the food was unmatched! We’ve been going doe years. Soooo good. NOW, it’s awful. Everything is just bad and the servers don’t care, management keeps giving replacement orders “for the inconvenience” but the replacements aren’t any better. Today was the last straw. Chicken tenders are not rocket science. It shouldn’t be this hard. The mashed potatoes were scraped from the bottom of the pan and served with the kids meals. The chicken was so incredibly dry and chewy, stringy..nothing tender about them and even the new ones were like that, and they new ones they brought after that. It’s so incredibly aggravating to get dinner and no one can eat/enjoy dinner. And you guys have to know the food has changed for the worse! How could you not? It really sucks because we really loved this place, but there’s nothing to love anymore. You guys need to do better, it’s very evident it’s more than one person with this issue at this location.

It’s no secret why this brand is dying off one by one. We were seated and waited approximately 5 minutes before anyone came to the table. When he did come to the table we asked each other “how are you?”, and his reply was “I’m tired”. Customer service 101 is to bury your feelings and smile. This is probably why the service industry is taking a major hit.Took our drink and appetizer order and didn’t see him again, until he was ready to take another order. Shouldn’t be difficult to keep up with a section of 6 tables, but it was for him. We received our appetizer and waited another 20 minutes before he came back out and said his system ate our ticket order. He asked for it again, but he recited the order before we ever answered. If you knew the order, why ask us? Just put the order in again and get the food going. We were there for over an hour (only 2 of us) to get drinks, an appetizer and to go boxes for our entrees. Will not return again.

Gave this place 4 shots. We really wanted to like this place and tried lunch and dinner service. Service was a joke. I am not sure if the wait staff doesn’t have proper training or just doesn’t care, but there was something wrong with just the ordering of food. Something always came out barely warm, wrong, or no taste. Actually, the rolls were good. 1 refill of drinks in an 2 hour visit…. Unacceptable! The wait staff always seemed to be somewhere other than the dining room. 4 strikes guys…. We are done!

We've been going to O'Charly's for years and always have a good experience. We went tonight for the first time in a while. The food was absolutely terrible. I ordered the Pork Chops and Ribs combo. Almost no food was on the plate. What was there was horrible. Easily the worst of both that I ever had. My son's corn dogs were overcooked and hard. The service by both the host and bartender/waitress was the only redeeming quality tonight. They were both excellent.I seriously doubt we will ever be back. I paid almost $20 for a plate with almost no food and what was there was overcooked as a disgusting.

Went in to have a good time. Upon eating my food I smelled the most fowl odor. Being that I’ve worked in restaurants before I knew exactly what it was. Backed up drainage lines. The waiter carried buckets of ice to the bar and that’s when I could’ve fainted. I was utterly disgusted called for the manager he came and tried to divert the conversation while running off never came back to us. The waiter was good and handsome and deserved to be in a better establishment. The health department needs to go in immediately. My friend was throwing up with loose bowels from all the water she drank. Glad I didn’t drink any. Please shut them down til it gets fixed. Disgusted.

From the moment we walked in we had an amazing first time experience. The staff was very friendly and helpful with menu selections. The steaks were cooked perfectly and had so much flavor. Definitely a great place for lunch with decent prices.

We have picked up quite a few door dashes at this location, for the most part it’s been fine. This afternoon when I went inside to pick up my order, I was ignored, then a staff member welcomed two other door dashers that came in after me. When I finally got her attention, she not so politely told me they were having technical difficulties and to chill. I was shocked to say the least. I let customer support at door dash know what happened and we won’t be back
