Hard to please me in this area when it comes to pizza but this is probably the best I’ve had in the acworth area. 100% recommend. Would be great to add an option for a garlic glaze on the crust
For a New York style like this, this is one of the best picks I ever made. The guys who work at the restaurant are nice, they have the best fries I could ever eat. The pizza was delicious, and the service was great. There were no complaints or anything, just great.
You should give this pizza place a chance so it can make your day feel better.

First time here, last time here. The pizza is awful. In the five minutes it took me to get home, the pizzas looked like they were a week old. Crust was hard as a rock, couldn’t even eat it. Barely any sauce or cheese on the pizza and a three inch wide bare crust on some slices. Wasted $30 here, never again.

This is very unfortunate. I loved ordering from this place. As a New Yorker, this is one of the only places that comes close to the taste of a NYC slice. I ordered nearly $100 worth of food on Monday online, and went in to pick up after the app said the order was ready. I go in and the gentleman was alone and said it would be an additional 20 min wait since he was the only one in the restaurant. Ok, no problem... it was a bit frustrating as I was on a schedule for my own child's birthday party, but understand that things happen. While waiting, another staff member arrived about 25 to 30 min while I was sitting there. My husband ended up coming in wanting to cancel, and the gentleman who came in later, got an attitude, especially after we raised aconcern about the pizza being cold. He said it was in to of the oven, so it's not cold and walked away. There were several people, at least 6 to 7, waiting for food, and I was the first to arrive and ended up waiting over 45 min. God only knows how long they ended up waiting. I'm not sure if I'll order again. If an employee can arrive late, then get upset about us asking a legitimate question after spending the amount of money we spent, the time spent waiting, I'm not sure I want to continue to support a business that doesn't take pride in its brand or its customers.

We stopped in for a quick meal between our children's ball games and while the food came out very quickly, everything was fresh, made to order and delicious.
The service was great and the restaurant
atmosphere is warm and homey.
Highly recommend Sal's pizza if you're in the downtown dallas area.

Great sauce and garlic option set it over the top! Great slices, very spicy jalapeños, slices were a bit floppy and not as New York crisp and firm as expected. Sauce... was perfect, but I will ask fir extra next time as it was REAL Italian sauce like my Sicilian Uncle Vena used to make! Sad it is so far away from our home, but I would visit again if in the area. I ordered large pepperoni, sausage, jalapeños on thin crust.

Saw the ads for Sal’s on line thought we’d give it a try. You live you learn, not a fan! Food was bland and not worth the $60 bucks we spent, tried the calzone, Stromboli garlic knots and meatballs (which were definitely not made from scratch). Ordered a small cheese pizza togo thinking, hoping we’d found a great New York style pizza but nah… the only reason I give it 2-stars was for the Dr.pepper
Best pizza in the area.
