The buffet was sad for a lunch meal. Ex. Macaroni and cheese was actually soupy and needed to be ate with a spoon. Fried chicken had a burnt grease taste, mashed potatoes were instant, chicken and dumplings were canned, both kinds of lettuce were very wilted and limp. I could go on abt every item we tried to eat, but just know that it's not worth yur $9.99 plus $2.69 drink to eat lunch there. It was clean that's why I gave it 1 star.

The place is clean enough, and my server was friendly and efficient, but I had to send my "grilled" sandwich back because it was cold. NO SOAP in the men's restroom and no toilet paper in the ladies bathroom! Protective masks are worn, and apparently company policy as stated on the door, to protect the customer. It's useless if worn around the chin as I observed the whole time I was there. As a traveler I had to go out to eat since I was far from home. This is my last visit to Shoney's. Very disappointed. One star is generous!

This place is no doubt one of the best place to eat in the region. Always when I go there I am remarkably pleased. They always keep their very high standard service and the highest level of meals they serve. You no doubt will love this place. Highly recommended.

The restaurant itself was clean and looked relatively new. The salad portion of the buffet was good, but that's where the accolades end. The hot part of the buffet appeared to have been sitting there since lunch time. One would think with 20 guests in the restaurant that they would at least have restocked the entrees at least. For eleven dollars and change, I don't expect a lot but I would have liked to have had something besides salty, lukewarm fried chicken. I couldn't touch the vegetables because the film of whatever it was was too much for me to bear. This was not the Shoney's I grew up with. Such a shame because the restaurant itself is very nice and the servers were polite. Just very underwhelmed.

Surprisingly for the location, what I had after the church rush was good. The fried chicken was very tasty and the mashed potatoes and gravy was good. Had corn with tomatoes not bad. The dressing I did not try because it had been on the steam table a while and look dry. Get there when they put it out fresh.

My wife and I visited Georgia from Tennessee and wanted to eat the breakfast bar at Shoney's. Her and I love great service when we go out to eat and today we got it here. This Shoney's has it together. PEARL our waitress was Amazing. She was very informative and very nice. We didn't have to wait at all for anything and she also had a big party too. When we come back this way , we will for sure stop here and hopefully she is our waitress. ?

I have to be honest I never expected I'd review a Shoney's. I came here on a whim based on it being The Steiner Shoney's and assumed it would be decent chain food but nothing special. We arrived on a Tuesday right around noon and wandered in to check out the buffet. It looked pretty decent at first glance, mashed potatoes, fried chicken, salmon, meatballs, some desserts.... it was a good enough look that I was interested. So that's what we did. I am super glad we did. The Salmon was ridiculously good. Better than salmon on a buffet has any right to be. The mashed potatoes were very good as well. However the thing that really blew me away was the meatballs. They were well seasoned and had a great red sauce. Special shout out to the peaches as well, they must have been local because they tasted fresh. The waitress was really nice and talked with us about where we were from and what it's like working there. It was honestly a great experience. I'm hoping to make a stop back on my way north next week.

Food is whatever, not many high expectations with a chain diner/buffet but my boyfriends into wrestling and wanted to go here and see the Scott Steiner memorabilia which was cool. I believe her name was pearl , our waitress she said she also bartends there and pretty much does every other angle of the restaurant. She's a gem be sure to take care of her! She's on point

Piper our server was knowledgeable and friendly as well as the manager. Our food was delicious and our choices many. The buffet looked great but we chose off the menu. This was our first Visit to a honeys restaurant.

First time here since the remodel 3 or 4 years ago. Restaurant is quite nice, very open floorplan. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I ordered a mushroom Swiss burger and my wife got the All-american burger. Both took a tad longer to prepare than we expected, given the lack of customer volume, but we didn't have an excessive wait. Food was hot and tasty. Burgers were a little greasy, but no more than other places. All in all, a good experience and we'll probably be back.

The fried chicken was the best I have ever had and our server Katrina was superb in her customer service. We will definitely be back when we visit from Australia again. xo
