Dirty tables and floors, have to order on a kiosk, which dosent have internet connection so not sure how they collect payment, only 1 person at work who doesn't appear to have the best servitude.
Super disappointed that this location no longer has servers. Must order at a kiosk and then they still ask you for a tip and the end when I have to order everything myself. Like McDonald’s now but with a better burger.

i came the other night with my girlfriend at about 9:30 . they appeared to have closed the dining room as there was someone mopping the floor, when we walked in we approached the counter and a young lady walked over and we asked her if the dining room was open she just gave us a rude snarky reply and basically dismissed us and walked away. i'm never coming back to this location and i don't recommend coming here to anyone who wants to be treated like a human being.

Why would I tip when I order from a kiosk and serve my drink and get the food? Why are you asking your customers to pay your employees a proper wage? That's your job Steak n' Shake. The food is overpriced already. Shame.

Just came from picking up my mobile order from this location. Upon instructions in the app to pick up inside. I stood at the counter for 3-5 minutes while an older guy manned the grill 2-3 ft away. He kept looking at me and did even ask if I needed help, or if I was there for anything. Just saw me standing there and kept going on with himself. Decided to leave and go to the drive thru. Line was long, but food wasn’t the hottest and drinks were a subpar at best. Must have been a busy night, maybe the syrup ran out. We will be back, but it was just ridiculous.

Nobody was at the drive thru menu when I pulled up and I had to wait a decent amount of time for my order to be taken. It was cold and my window was down because I wanted to make sure I heard them when they came on. I think there were two tables with people sitting inside so they were not busy. The food was okay. My fries were good and hot but my burger was medium warm and the bun was cold. I used to love Steak-n-Shake but it sure ain't what it used to be.

Visit was okay, had to wait on our milkshakes because they forgot about them.
It is very clean. Food was good. It has been a while since I had been to S&S. The new computer kiosk total kills the vibe of the place. The lack of service makes it all feel very impersonal. The server didn't say a word. Just dropped off the food and went. I had apparently misunderstood the computer and didn't order a drink. It took me 5 minutes to get someone's attention to get that fixed, and get ketchup and mustard for my fries. The people that came in after me all had issues ordering and it took time to get help for them.
Your food is cheap, but I would rather pay for good service. The human touch of ordering my food.
