Good authentic Mexican food located inside a grocery store. We’ve tried a bunch of different tacos and the steak burrito, everything is quite tasty. I love the salsa bar too, their avocado salsa is great. We have a lot of options in the area for authentic tacos, but La Villa is certainly a solid choice!

The grocery is nice but the restaurant is unwelcoming. No area to wait, not greeted, it feels like an inconvenience to them that I want food. Waited about 15 minutes, was passed a few times with no greeting or asking what I wanted.

A Mexican market with a Mexican restaurant in it. A hole in the wall type of places but as y’all know, those are usually the best. This place has come a long way in the food options they offer. The food is good original Mexican food. The tortillas are handmade, the salsas are flavorful and spicy and the toppings are just as good. They even have nopales salad to pour over your tacos ?. Be ready because it’s usually busy. Don’t expect a fancy looking place inside but the food is well worth.

This place is the real deal. This isn't Tex Mex. This isn't Taco Bell. This is genuine Mexican food and a place where Mexicans like to eat. If we have visitors come in from out of town, this is where we take them. The restaurant is inside the supermarket. I know all of the ingredients are fresh because all of the meat is taken directly from the butcher department, and the produce is taken straight from their produce department. They make their corn tortillas from scratch by hand every day. My only complaint is that sometimes on busy days they run out of tortillas in the afternoon and have to get some from the shelf of the grocery store. I also shop there so I know the quality of their meat and produce. I'm Hispanic, and there are certain produce that you can't get in a Publix, but they have it. Their meat is exquisite and fresh every time. I've never had to return anything to them for poor quality. I can't say the same thing about Kroger or Publix. Everything in the restaurant is made, how it would be made in a residential Mexican kitchen. There are no processed foods. No additives. Oh! And the breads they use for their sandwiches are made daily right there because they sell fresh baked goods in the supermarket. After we have our meal, we always pick up some necessities that would cost a fortune elsewhere, like hibiscus leaves to make hibiscus tea. They have iced hibiscus tea on tap there at the restaurant. It's called Agua de Jamaica, literally translated it means water of hibiscus. Some of our favorite things there are: 1. Muslo asado- it is roasted chicken thighs. Be adventurous, and order the side of grilled nopal cactus, just called "nopal". I wouldn't sit down and eat a bowl of grilled cactus, but it is a perfect addition to put on Mexican foods. It compliments perfectly. They taste like fried green tomatoes. They are tangy. All the main dishes come with sides of Mexican rice and homemade refried beans. And of course those homemade corn tortillas. There's nothing like the dry tortillas you get out of a package. 2. Torta de carne asada - "torta" is a sandwich and Carne Asada is basically a very thin cut steak. Like I said, before their bread is fresh and made in house daily. 3. Tacos. They are a Taqueria after all so their tacos are great. My personal preference is the Carne Asada tacos with plenty of fresh cilantro and onions. 4. Any of their soups. Perfect on winter days. A few of the food serving staff does not speak English well, so please be kind and patient. The menu is on a board with pictures. If necessary, you can just point to what you want. But you're just ordering food so you don't need to really speak the language. Besides, Burrito, tortilla, and taco are said the same in English and in Spanish. If you want to be adventurous and feel like you took a quick trip to Mexico to get a bite to eat, this is your place. Remember, this place has excellent food, but the decorations and ambience are exactly what you would expect from a family owned business of relatively recent immigrants. The place is immaculate. the decorations and furnishings are comfortable but not what you're expecting in Fine dining. You won't get the nicely padded seating or table cloths but I promise you won't miss any of it.

My husband and I went in to eat at the restaurant in the store. We waited on our food for over 30 minutes, and when I got my food I couldn’t even eat it. I will never stop here again. If I could give the no stars I would.

Horrible customer service , one day I came and the cashier took forever to scanned my groceries and then when she finally finish she couldn’t print my receipt she tried to print it from a different computer but couldn’t when I saw her frustration I asked her if she can take a picture with my phone because I needed my receipt, she couldn’t either and asked me for my phone number she said she was going to texted me a copy of my receipt, I never got my receipt. When I check my bank account I got charge twice. Today I came to the store and to get some meat and accidentally left it there, when I called to ask if they found my meat they said No that the client after me might have taken it by mistake. I live so far away and I asked the lady to call me because my husband was close by and could come to get it. She never called, my husband made it to store with poor customer service I do not recommend this place. Don’t think will be coming back.
