Super nice joint and super tasty. The other reviews don't lie. The ox tails are delicious soul/comfort food! Not over powering either. Mrs. Cathy said she had been doing it for 20 years and the food certainly speaks for itself! Take the extra 2 mins to drive past the fast food off the interstate for this little gem. The portions are very plentiful too.

Yes! Food is homemade and authentic. It's spicy so know what you're getting. We ordered the jerked chicken over white rice and cabbage. It was delicious. I'm hoping they get some eat-in plates. When I was there they only had clamshell Styrofoam containers and I can't bear to touch Styrofoam. However it was a delicious meal and we recommend it!

Native Caribbean always in search of good island food locally (which is extremely difficult in this area). Stumbled upon this gem through a recommendation of a friend and was pleasantly surprised. Mrs. Cathy was warm, welcoming and very friendly! Food was delicious and I’ll definitely be returning. :) Good food, good vibes!

Delicious! We were passing through on vacation, and saw their great reviews on Google Maps. We're so glad we stopped! The j*** chicken and honey bbq wings were great, and the collards & sweet potatoes, too. The staff was very warm, welcoming, and helpful. We will definitely stop again next time we're in the area.

Love coming to Taster's Caribbean for their J*** Chicken, extra gravy of course! My son loves their hot wings. You can eat in or takeout and the portions are huge. The owners are always so nice. We've been several times and will continue coming here

THIS PLACE IS THE TRUTH!!!! I couldn't decide what to eat so I got the oxtail dinner with rice and peas and cabbage! Y'all this was 1000% authentic and SO DELICIOUS! I also got the 10pc honey BBQ wings with mac and cheese and collard greens! The wings were cooked PERFECTLY and the sides were something your grandmother would make! Good down home cooking at its finest! Ms. Cathy was the best! She is so kind and sweet and updated us multiple times while we waited for our food. I'm so happy I found this place! I will definitely return often! Thanks again Ms. Cathy!!

Wow! This restaurant is AMAZING! Such a friendly & welcoming environment! When guests walk in they’re often greeted by name from the Ms. Cathy! The food was so so good with generous portions! If you’re looking for good authentic Caribbean food, this is the place for you!

Ms. Cathy is warm and welcoming! I had the j*** chicken and the meat was fall-off-the-bone tender and full of heat and flavor. Ask for the plantains - they're not on the menu yet, but she will make them upon request.

Awesome, Delectable Cuisine!

This place is a hidden gem. I can't believe they were open for six months without me knowing. Awesome food and service. If you're looking for real authentic Caribbean and Soul Food this is the place. My family and I had j*** chicken, rice and peas, mac and cheese, cabbage, sweet yams and Lemon Pepper Wings. Everything was awesome. I am a foodie so trust me on this. Staff was very friendly.

The food is very good. The staff is so friendly. When ever you go in the restaurant you will always see them with a smile on their face. They also have nice music playing while you eat.

Great food, fantastic people and cant wait to come back!!! Had the curry chicken and I added some j*** sauce for a kick! Yes! Feel the burn! Came with fall off the bone chicken, rice, carrots, beans and side of cabbage !

We just ate at this GREAT restaurant! Highly recommend! The service was amazing and the people were so kind. The food was fabulous and give very big portions! We were traveling through and felt right at home here.

GREAT FOOD!! We had the j*** chicken and curry chicken. Both great. The spices are not overwhelming but still spicy enough. Will definitely eat here again!
