Tokyo Japanese Steakhouse

If I could give this place zero stars it would be too high of a rating.. I tried to call to place a to go order fifteen times, with each attempt being forwarded to voicemail. I was trying to give them the benefit of the doubt that maybe they were closed or just overwhelmed with business. We went anyways to see if they were open and just place the order there. Once we arrived, I see they’re not busy but just over staffed with young high school employees that don’t care. And guess what? The phone is ringing off the hook and the employees are picking up the phone and hitting end, without ever actually answering it. We planned on ordering shrimp fried rice which the menu clearly states comes with soup and salad. We were then told that you actually only get one or the other when you order to go. Maybe they should update the menu to say that instead of arguing with paying customers because they didn’t have enough sense to print their menus correctly. The food wasn’t terrible but I will never go there again just because they have nothing but careless and arrogant employees that work there. Someone should open a hibachi restaurant in cartersville with the slogan “we answer phones” and Tokyo will be put out of business within a week.

Excellent ambience and super amiable service. The food was crisp and delicious. Will definitely recommend this spot to friends. Affordable prices and big portions. Great job.

This place has went down hill. Sad because it use to be my favorite place. Sign on the door "no sushi" then when I walked in it smelled so bad that my son put his shirt over his nose. There was no other customers in there the entire time. My son's sweet tea tasted like it was very old, the miso soup didn't look or taste right. I could only try a sip. The ginger sauce in the salad was ok. The only positive thing I can say is the food portions was still good and the rice and steak was pretty good. Sadly I will probably never be back. Volcano is much better.

Great food at a great price get the chicken and fried rice dinner for less then $10 with tax

Food wasn’t good, so much oil was used that my plate was covered and my food was floating in it, the place was dirty and had cooking grease and oil dripping from the ceiling onto our plates of food. Overall just not a good experience, will not be coming back. Don’t waste your money you’ll just end up with a stomach ache.

Absolutely fantastic Asian cuisine! I got the steak with friend rice Hibachi, and I must say that their fried rice is some of the best I've ever tasted! And, I'm a Chinese/Japanese food fanatic! I definitely recommend trying it out.

I call this special restaurant every couple of days since I love the special air that is exist in this restaurant. The crew is extremely loyal and qualified. The service is certainly efficient. Not to mention, the food they serve is first-rate. I have been there more than once and I was always delighted. The pay is decent. I suggest this place to to everybody.
