I used to enjoy going here because they had good BBQ and sides. I stopped going a couple of years ago because service was slow and not welcoming.Yesterday I decided to give them another chance and called them about noon to see if they could suggest what I needed to feed 20 people that evening at my house. The first thing the person said was "we need 24 hours notice ..", she seemed abrupt so when I said "ok, didn't realize that..." She asked what I wanted. I asked if she could suggest anything and she responded that I should read the online menu. I let her know I was driving and could she please suggest anything she said "there are too many options and it would take too long, when you have a chance, pull over and look at the menu..." so at that point it was obvious she was too busy or unwilling to help so I said thanks and goodbye, I felt bad about calling them.Then I called Bar-B-Cutie across the street who were very nice and everyone enjoyed the meal that evening.Not really sure why Ziegler's didn't want my business but I got the message and won't try again.

This place used to be really good a few years back. We’ve ordered from here about eight times.The last two times have been really disappointing and I remembered today with that first bite. Instant regret. The ribs taste like they were never seasoned and the only taste comes from smothering it in sauce. Even then, they’re really greasy and not at all off the bone tender like one would expect.The baked beans have a weird plastic taste. The Mac n cheese tastes like cooked cardboard and flour. The green beans were also really bland. They use no seasoning in their food. Last time we got some dessert and that was a let down too. I don’t mind paying for good food but this was also on the expensive side and it was so bland. Really disappointed.

Oh my lord!! these were the most tender ribs ive had in this area! i daw a piece of fat in my bake beans and knew i had came to the right place! The fried okra is so good and the roll was the perfect addition. im definitely about to try the peach cobbler before i leave??

Super solid bbq for the Ackworth/Kennesaw area. I would prefer the meats have a bit more smoke flavor but it’s always been fresh and moist from my experience. The sides are great across the board as well.

Love this restaurant, they're amazing for catering orders. I've ordered from them for company events (50+ people), home parties (25 people) and for family dinners (6 people). Every time I've called for big orders the person I talk to is SO helpful and knowledgeable. You may have to wait for a little bit (~10 minutes) when you get a pick-up order, but the food is hot and fresh because of it. The space for dine-in orders is small, so if you have a big party just do pick-up/delivery.

Ziegler's is one if the best tasting BBQ restaurants in the Acworth/Kennesaw area off of Cobb Pkwy. The ribs are so tender and tasty that you can eat them without any of their signature sauces. However, their sauces, both spicy and regular ones, are absolutely delicious! Their sides are yummy too! When you're in the mood for some great BBQ you should check out Zeigler's.
