Place us never open so i couldnt tell you how it is. Not sure how they make profit with those hours seems shady.

Did you say RIBS???!!! If so, this is the place to go! Delicious ribs and sides. My favorites are the potato salad and baked beans. Dessert and a drink are included in all meals which is amazing! Food is amazing!Down home friendly staff.

I had Michelin star barbecue in Austin Texas and these ribs were better. I waited in line 3 hours to get barbecue in Texas. They got nothing on Michael Character

This place is as close to no frills as you can get. The experience is all about the food and they deliver! My brother made sure we went here while I was in town. For people that don't understand how long it takes to smoke meat, I guess the 1-star reviews make sense when complaining they were out of everything. Character's restaurant seems to be a passion project for the owner and less about trying to create a food empire, which is perfectly fine by me. I almost couldn't eat the whole sandwich and the beans were amazing. They had a smoky molasses flavor, which left you wanting more. You have to enjoy each BBQ place as its own and not try to compare it to your idea of what BBQ should be. If you do that, you won't be disappointed. Don't use the hours of operation as your guide for coming here. If you're wanting some great food, get there early!

Ribs are awesome. Cooked competition style so they don't fall off the bone but allow you to eat them properly with a small tug to remove the meat cleanly from the bone. Brisket was good with ample bark. Pork was shredded and there wasn't enough bark for my taste. Sauces are Georgia style and have just enough heat, but doesn't overpower the flavor of the 'que. It was worth the trip.

Drove thirty minutes to this place and they were sold out, got there one hour before they closed.

Food is amazing

Best BBQ around. Astounding ribs & pulled chicken. The coleslaw is out of this world. Finished off by a light lemony delight (lemon pound cake.) A must try if you’re in the area. Worth driving out of your way for!!!!!

The ribs put me in a choke hold everytime! The piece of cake that comes with my plate is so moist and flavorful. I love dining here when I get the chance too.
