Staff is always friendly and remembers their “regulars”. On Thursday’s, they serve fresh to order chicken livers with their regular menu. They are the best in any restaurant in Georgia I’ve visited. Fresh greens, cabbage, and mashed potatoes are also fantastic. The sour cream pound cake tops off the traditional Southern style cookin’.

You have to take time to grab a bite here.
I got the fried chicken, the chicken was so good and juicy. Better than any I had in years. My wife got the fried fish. It was fabulous, like dad used to make it when he was with us.
They were so friendly and helpful.

I am from out of town so this was my first time at Tom and Hattie's, but I will definitely be going again next time I am in town. The food is delicious, the staff very friendly and I really like the cafeteria style. My favorite was their fried green tomatoes. When I asked for a take home container for the fried tomatoes I couldn't eat, our terrific server brought me a container with four fresh tomatoes inside. Such wonderful people are at Tom and Hattie's and I highly recommend it. I can't wait to go back.

We came here from Acworth. Well worth the trip. Delicious food and such nice people. The baked BBQ chicken was my favorite. I will for sure be back. 😊
I do wish they would allow service dogs. We couldn’t eat inside because I had my service dog with me. But it was still delicious in the car.

Awesome food! The people were warm and welcoming. We are traveling for vacation and decided to stop for home cooking…we were not disappointed. Must stop on your way through.

I am an over the road truck driver I'm out on the road 2 to 3 months at a time. Im always looking for great food in the lower 48 states. This place is a gem! The people family, service and business oriented! Food just like back home!!! This restaurant is clean and when I mean clean I mean immaculate!! I was sad that they sold out of collards by the time I got there but I will be back!!! Putting this spot in my gps so I know everytime I'm close by!! I took a bite of the steamed cabbage and it brought tears to my eyes!!! Mac and cheese is just like heaven!! And the fried chicken definitely made by the hands of someone who's perfected it!!!!! All in all you can tell everything is made with so much love and attention to details in the flavors!!!! This trucker just experienced the best food she's ever experienced in all my years trucking!!! I will definitely be back. If it wasnt for the fact that I want them to stick around i wouldn't tell anyone about this gem of a place however every single one of my fellow truckers out here will know I'll be telling them about this place!! I had gastric bypass so I ended up taking left overs and even bought an extra side of mac to take with me. I cant wait to try the cobbler when I get back to my semi!!!!!! Fair prices 👌 and great food and great people!!! I hope soon they'll be able to expand and have actual semi parking but the Uber cost is worth it all!!! By far the best food I've ever had out on these highways in the USA.

in little words the experience i recieved was that southern hospitality. the atmosphere is like you are at a family reunion and your auntie and older cousins are feeding the family. the employees are just friendly and nice but so are the customers there. and the food was delicious and tasted home made. chicken breast was crispy on the outside without being burnt and so so juicy in the inside. the collard greens and jams are my favorite sides. the peach cobbler for desert is a must and taste homemade and I might be wrong but the peaches weren't soggy so I have to think they are canned. this is a place I want to bring my family.

We found this place randomly and are so glad we did! Their fried chicken was wonderful, and their Mac and Cheese and peach cobbler were some of the best I've ever had in a restaurant. We had fried chicken, BBQ chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, Mac and Cheese, fried okra, baked beans, a dinner roll, cornbread and peach cobbler for dessert. Everything was really tasty and the sweet tea was spot on too. 10 of 10, will certainly be returning next time we're in the area.
