Went thru the Adel Ga drive thru on my way to the beach, I was there at 10:45a.m. Tried to order from the $5.99 menu: Garlic butter shrimp and fries, voice over intercom stated that they didn’t have it anymore. I stated but it’s on the menu, voice with more attitude stated the same thing just louder. Right there, I could have pointed out how rude and unprofessional she was but I chose to ignore her and kept my composure. Besides, I have a wonderful life! I drove around because it’s construction going on next door. I saw an older woman and asked if she was the manager and indeed she was. I again mentioned that you are advertising a product that you don’t have. This time she stated that she could cover that part of the menu. I doubt that she will!!! Absolutely, no other customer was there when I arrived nor when I left. I received hush puppies rock hard and couldn’t break them apart with my nails!!! I immediately returned the meal to another young lady. I gave them a do-over. 11:02 as I was on the express, I bit into the hush puppies and to my dismay… it was raw batter, undercooked. I called theManager on the phone and told her of my disgust. She asked if I was in town and I said no! She asked when was I going back. At this point, I realized that she was trying to get my schedule instead just stating I will f refund your money when you come back! This girl has a nasty attitude and sets a bad example for Captain D’s. I’m going to keep enjoying my retirement and thank God that I loved my profession. Captain D’s at this location has set the bar so low that Anyone can be promoted to manager and speak to customers so badly. Leave your attitude home young lady!

Was told at 8:40 pm that the dinning room was closed. Was able to do a to go order. Truck drivers can't use drive thru. Was out of a lot of product. Chicken,hush puppies sauce not a friendly environment. Do beget Better for the people that supply the country...

I ordered a two piece fish dinner and discovered it was one piece of fish and one piece of chicken. I tried to tell them that the other piece was a chicken and not fish and they argued with me the whole time but I think I should know the difference between the taste of chicken and fish so they never gave me another piece of fish even though it was their mistake. All I can say is, I’ll never return to this Captain D’s restaurant again. Aug 23 2025 sat.
Waited 20 minutes for cold fish. I didn’t know They changed their shrimp .. which are frozen cheap family dollar shrimps made in a lab. Corn is also low quality. What a shame that the quality is no where like a year ago or other captains.

I eat at Captain D’s weekly sometimes biweekly but here at this place very convenient off the freeway they scorch my fish. It was terrible all kind of black grill stuff. I should’ve caught it at the counter. I would’ve sent it back.
