Arrived at 6. One server in entire restaurant. All others were a no show. Took an hour to get drinks. Took 2 hours to get our entrees. This was a special place years ago. I understand it is under new management. Well new management definitely isn't taking care of the restaurant. I'll never go back.
The place was phenomenal. Our first time visiting, the owner took care of our service and she went above & beyond making the experience great. The restaurant is very well managed.
No longer Al's Altobelli's! Menu changes make it more limited. No specials. No Garlic rolls. Olive Garden Italian. Staff were great and was nice that the piano was still on and being played. Had been a customer for years but first time back due to being away since new owner. Unfortunately will not return. RIP Al!! You are missed.
Outstanding! This is my 2nd time here and I LOVE ITTT! From the moment you walk in, you are greeted as if you are coming to a family get together. The restaurant has so much history and its ambiance, food and entertainment is top tier! The owner Casey, is so welcoming, friendly and inviting! She takes the time to personally greet everyone and will sing! The FOOD!!! I highly recommend the mozzarella, goat cheese salad, shrimp bruschetta and chicken piccata!! Brandon the chef really knows what he is doing! Casey is also a master bartender so she created a drink for my cousin and I and named it the Tina Sabrina summer spritzer!!!! Ask for it when you go!! I can't say enough good things about this hidden gem!!!
Altobeli's is an amazing place to have dinner and entertainment all rolled into one! The piano and singer were wonderful and very entertaining, they are also interactive with the crowd! We spent our anniversary dinner with great food and wonderful entertainment! Open mic night was the highlight, I got to sing a song with the pianist! Highly recommend this establishment for a great night out!
Altobeli's is my absolute favorite restaurant in all of Atlanta! The food is always good, but you can go to plenty of restaurants for good food. Its uniqueness is in the atmosphere, experience, and service. The owner, entertainers, and long-time servers (very little turnover is a rarity in Atlanta restaurants) go incredibly far above and beyond to ensure your dinner is a warm and memorable time - taking time to get to know the diners (and remember them on their next visit) and making them feel as though they are their most important guests. The talent and repertoire of the pianist and vocalists is also immense. That said, though there is live entertainment, the volume is such that you can still converse comfortably at your table. We will continue to visit for many special occasions, and hope to become “regulars” there on general date nights.
We celebrated our 60th wedding anniversary. The food was outstanding as was the ambiance. However, the service left a little to be desired. We arrived on time for our reservation but had to wait for the bartender to return from Kroger with supplies before our drink order could be taken. Our dessert order could not be filled due to cheesecake being unavailable. Overall, it was a memorial occasion that built a treasured memory.
Sunday evening, our party of 8 was the only one there. Our server was great. Food was sub par and took a long time to come out. One chef.
Highly suggest you give Altobeli's a try. Altobeli's offers a unique and rare dining experience that is hard to find today. Altobeli's offers made to order Italian food and live music in an intimate setting. The menu includes a good range of Italian dishes along with daily specials and a full bar. The music is always good. Randy is amazing on the piano. He's accompanied by a rotating group of talented singers (some of whom work the restaurant as servers). Kathy was the singer the night we were there. She is a fantastic singer with great song selections and range. There is a small dance floor for those interested. Table service was excellent (friendly, professional and attentive). Easy to make reservations on Open Table.
Family has been coming to Altobelli’s for 35+ years! Went tonight and it was Horrible!! New management sucks!! Service: Nonexistent and rude. Took 3 hours to get our appetizers and entrees and the place was empty! Couldn’t get the bills figured out correctly .. took 20 mins. Food: disgusting!!! Non-eatible! Gross! Pricey! Entertainment: poor We will never be back. DO NOT GO!!! Name needs to be changed. It’s not Altobelli’s as we once knew it!!! DO NOT GO!! WORST DINING EXPERIENCE IN YEARS!!!

They forgot to put my order in. Had to wait until my wife was almost finished before I got my food. They did comp me a free drink.
We do date night here once a month. The menu has been updated, there is continuity of service and bartending, and it just feels very comfortable with great food (Chef Brandon), AMAZING music (provided by Randy), and an engaged owner (Casey B). If you want a nice friend/family dinner experience, where you will also meet folks from ‘the neighborhood' - then you HAVE to come HERE. Don't let this gem of a place pass you by!
I went there with 4 friends , 3 of them had net been there before . We were the only ones in the restaurant and we had the best time . The food , the service , the piano bar and the hostess sang to us . We could not have a better time , it was great .We will definitely be back
We love the piano bar, unfortunately the service was very slow...it wasnt even busy... and very pricey. The chicken picatta was great but the caprese salad was subpar and the beer was warm.
If you haven't been you must go. Great food, the staff is amazing. Randy on the keyboard is a must see.
