Probably the last time, we visit Benihana-Alpharetta. In the last few years, it has been a hit or miss experience. The cooks have always been great, but services have been inconsistent. This time we chose to have dinner at the lounge to save some time. Waitress did the basic. She took our order for water. By the time we had made a decision about alcoholic drinks, she was not around, never asked. The scallops portion was a joke. I mentioned it to the girl who brought the plates and she said: "I was wondering the same thing." Um? But she served it anyway? She went back to the kitchen, didn't say anything. I had to make eye contact with her for her to say: 'they are bringing it to you." The pieces of steak were cut so large, I needed to ask for a knife. Didn't get offered ice cream,; I had to ask.

Our server was super sweet, kind, and quick to bring anything we asked for with a smile on her face. It was quite refreshing however I'm shocked at the cost of dinner here keeps getting more expensive. Food is always great. Cocktails are tasty too.

My experience was 10/10. Our waitress was attentive and made good recommendations. Our Chef was amazing. The food was prepared perfectly and seasoned to perfection. Our drinks were top tier and tasted great. We had a great experience and I would definitely come back.

We love Benihana, but this particular night was the best service we've had at any Benihana location in a long time! Food was great as well!

Probably the most disgusting hibachi I've ever had. Save your money. Paid almost $300 for me and my kids to go enjoy a bday meal and never had such buyers remorse after. Fried rice was dry with zero flavor and a ridiculous amount of pepper. Chicken was also dry and zero flavor. Salad tasted like it had been in the fridge for days/ was wilted. Soup tasted like they had reheated it before bringing it out.

Delicious! Enjoyed my ocean treasure courses at Benihana and can't wait to enjoy the Benihana trio that I ordered to-go for lunch today! Excellent waitress and chef!!

I will start with the chef who cooked for us was fun. Our server was sweet. But.....the service was extremely slow. It took over an hour to have the chef come cook for us. Our meal took 3 hours! The rice was bland, the filet dry and tasteless. And the amount of money it cost shocked us all! We can eat much better for so much less. I left hungry because the steak was terrible, the shrimp itty bitty and it was all so tasteless. Shellshocked by the outrageous cost! No wonder it was so easy to get a table on a Saturday night! Will NOT be back!

The Entire Team at The Alpharetta Location on our visit was Amazing...Waiter Tibor , his Assistant, and of course The World Famous Chef Chris kept us Entertained and The Food was Our Best Yet at this Location. We will definitely return..Thank You Benihana Alpharetta.

This location should opt in for non-carpeted floors. It did not smell clean or fresh when we first walked in. Also, ensure to clean where the hibachi chefs stand and prepare the food. It was trash on the floor/mats that needed to be swept and wasn't. I noticed it at the other hibachi tables in the same spot where the chef would stand. Our chef, waiter, and other staff were great and very attentive. The food was yummy. And my E gift card was very easy to use.

Kind of dead for a Friday night. Staff congregated too much because they had nothing to do. Made it feel like a diner instead of a higher end establishment. Our server was great, the hostess was great. The chef was personable but no entertainment value. Just cooked the food but was nice the entire time. Leaving, employees were smoking near the front door. Just weird overall. Not worth the price tags.

Since The ONE Group took over, I've noticed a lot of changes, mainly with customer service which has went from a 1 to a 5 and has remained great throughout 2025. The problem is the price for entrees has skyrocketed from in in case $31 to $54 for Emperor's Feast. The amount of chicken and mignon you receive appears to be less vs in the past but the meal almost doubled in price. The restaurant itself needs to be refurbished from the floor to the ceiling as you can tell its aging.

Such a great experience from checking in to being seated by the waiter and the chief, the food is fresh and customer service is awesome.

Arrived at 730 took about a hour to be seated. Had reservation , but still a very long time to be seated. Everything was drawn out took about an hour and 30 minutes before our chief arrived at our table. We left at 11 o'clock that was a very long night.
