Had a long hiatus from Benihana but recently returned and it was a great experience! Chef Chris made our night. So much so that we returned last night and requested his table. He really seems to Love his job and his customers. Food was great. Highly recommend going but make sure to ask for Chris.

I’d like to give a personal review of GM Jason and server Carlos service I received today @ Benihana Alpharetta. I had some issues with my order and they were so kind and helpful in fixing it and even adding something extra as a warm gesture. These two make an exceptional team in the hospitality and restaurant industry and I recommended you ask for them when you come visit. My to-go food tasted fresh like I had just sat down with a hibachi chef ?? and they cooked in front of me. This is the type of experience I’m sure anyone ordering authentic Japanese wants! Thanks ? ????????

Chef Nelson and server Dee were absolutely amazing. Food was awesome. Cooking experience was amazing and fun and full of new tricks. Dee took very good care of you.
My husband and I were incorrectly charged twice (one hundred and thirty nine dollars) for a recent visit, and the manager was unable to resolve the issue to our satisfaction in a timely manner.
Had we not been diligent in reconciling our statements regularly, this erroneous charge would have gone unnoticed.
It took more than 3 calls to resolve this matter. The Corporate Office had to get involved.
The manager was unprofessional and dismissive. SHAMEFUL!
Food was way too overpriced for what it was. Food was very mid and server didn’t check on us a lot. The hibachi performance was also kinda disappointing. Onion soup was flavorless. Spent so much money and drove 45 min to this place when I could’ve just went 5 min down the road. Good ginger salad though.
The food was good and the waiter was very nice. Only problem was we had to wait for 2 hrs for our food . They did discount us for the very long wait but the food was worth the wait

We sat at the hibachi table and the chef barely did any of the cooking/show that Benihana is known for (no volcano, no play with shrimp etc). The shrimp appetizer was also served after the main course. As soon as we got our food, the waitress handed out doggy bags so we could pack our food. She also put out clean plates on the table for the next service at the same time. Ive never felt so like an intruder they just wanted to get rid of for the next service. Benihana is not what it used to be
