Menu was too confusing; we had to ask our waiter to explain. Typically, the hibachi menu has one section just for hibachi dinners. The soup did not taste good seemed to be a little oily. The salad dressing again did not taste good the dressing was flat. My wife had the filet mignon, and it did not good until we added salt. I had sushi and it was OK. The server and the cook we had were great. I haven't been to a Benihana's in a long time. I lived in California for a long time and went to Benihana's several times. Had such a great time with friends at Benihana. I was a little worried since this place had such low ratings Wasn't sure what to expect. When we got there, we were seated right away. The waitress was very attentive, always checking on us. Our chef Kendrick was friendly and entertaining. He put on quite a show. The fried rice and food were tasty, and portions were generous. The only downside was that it got pretty loud.

Food was served quickly and attentively. They have had a huge increase in prices. My wife's $30 birthday coupon did not come close to paying for her meal. I gave the waitress two coupons , the birthday and a Visa gift card and clearly told her about the two coupons. Initially she only gave us credit for the birthday coupon. Paying the bill took too long.

Had a long hiatus from Benihana but recently returned and it was a great experience! Chef Chris made our night. So much so that we returned last night and requested his table. He really seems to Love his job and his customers. Food was great. Highly recommend going but make sure to ask for Chris.

Christmas Day dinner. 5:30 reservation, they told us we had at least 1.5 hr wait.They were totally over booked and unprepared for the crowd. Total FAILURE on the part of management. We left

I’d like to give a personal review of GM Jason and server Carlos service I received today @ Benihana Alpharetta. I had some issues with my order and they were so kind and helpful in fixing it and even adding something extra as a warm gesture. These two make an exceptional team in the hospitality and restaurant industry and I recommended you ask for them when you come visit. My to-go food tasted fresh like I had just sat down with a hibachi chef ?? and they cooked in front of me. This is the type of experience I’m sure anyone ordering authentic Japanese wants! Thanks ? ????????
