My husband and I dine here on a Sunday night and ate outside. We were impressed by their menu and cocktail list. We started with the Brunel sprouts which were crispy and delicious. I had the fried spicy shrimp small plate and my husband had the lamb skewers. Both were meal sized and fantastic. Plus both of our cocktails were very well done (and I am a cocktail snob). Our server, Warren, was attentive and professional. Overall this restaurant exceeded my expectations and I will definitely be back.

The food is fabulous! Service was impeccable. The atmosphere is nice enough but nothing extraordinary. It's more like a pub style atmosphere and the interior is rather small but the food and service make up for it!

Food was extremely good and reasonably priced, but they were too busy for the number of servers they had. Simply couldn't get drink refills or much attention. They were very nice, but just too many customers for the number of workers.

From the moment we walked in the door the staff was pleasant and friendly-from the hostess to our waitress to the runner and even the kitchen staff were all very nice (open kitchen you can see as we were leaving). The food and drinks were excellent. Everyone in our party said they would come back again! Very well done all the way around.

Service was great. The ambience was nice. The food was below average and I trashed the deserts after I left. My heart burn was so bad I had to stop on the way home for antacids. The brisket fries were bad. I think that's what gave me heart burn. The devil eggs were very average. My wife loved the salmon. I tasted and thought it was bland. But, she liked it. I Wouldn't go back. Maybe they had a bad night. It happens.

My favorite entree at Branch and Barrel is the Salmon Salad. All 3 at our table ordered this dish and we all enjoyed it very much. Our waitress was very attentive and timely. She heard it was my birthday and surprised me with a delicious chocolate cake with lit candle to share. Great start to our night at Avalon Fat Tuesday Celebration.

Visiting family in Atlanta. Popped in the day before Thanksgiving while shopping at Avalon. Was worried we were going to get poor service because of all the shoppers. Not the case. Service was great and the food was better. We started w the corn chowder soup (very good). I had the Herb Grilled Chicken Waldorf Salad and my boyfriend had the Honey-Peach Grilled Chicken Sandwich. His sandwich was excellent. My salad was one of the best salads I have had in years. Yum!!!
My daughter and I had a wonderful time and we will be back

Apparently nobody wanted to wait on me at the bar. I did get a greeting, a smile by a lovely young lady and a menu; that was it. Waited about 10 minutes and said screw it! Never been here and never will again. There were only four people at the bar (including me) Nobody in the dining area.
